𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐚 🕊

Hey! I'm Ashima, and I'm a confidant, writer, admin, and graphic artist. (Pretty much everything lol) My username is AutumnDahlia5, so if you ever need to talk, feel free to pm me. I'd be happy to help!

Family

In my family it's just me, my older brother, my mom, and my dad. I also have multiple relatives, some living in the U.S., some in India, a couple in the UK, and one in Israel.

Ethnicity

I was born in America, but the majority of my family is from a part of India called Kerala. (With the exception of a couple of my cousins and me.) The native language there is Malayalam, so I speak that along with English. (I'm also currently learning Italian! I also know a bit of Syriac.) To this day, I live in the U.S. with my family.

How I look

I am an...average height I guess? Maybe a bit on the short side. I honestly don't know. (I'm 5'1") I have tan skin, wavy black hair that goes a bit past my shoulders, and very dark brown eyes. (My family says it looks like I have giant pupils instead of an iris and a pupil.) And yeah! (I'm quite awkward as well, I never know what to say.)

Hobbies

Ok, so I couple of my hobbies are writing and reading. I AM A HUGE BOOKWORM!! I'm a part of multiple fandoms (Examples: Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Hamilton, and many more!) and if you ever want to fangirl together, just pm me!

I also love to draw and just do art in general. I'm constantly learning about new techniques and though I usually do graphite drawings, I'm trying to learn how to do colored drawings as well!

A couple of my other hobbies are singing and dancing. I do two types of dance: Bollywood and Bharatanatyam. As for singing, like drawings, I'm constantly improving! I'm also a musician: I play the alto saxophone and I also play glass bottles!

(This is getting kinda long so this is the last paragraph for this subheading.) Ok, so to end this section off, one of my other hobbies is baking! Or just cooking in general. But mainly baking. I love making food, and I'm definitely a major foodie!

Why did I join SGC?

My mind is currently having a brain fart so here is what I put for my entry in the raffle:

"SGC is such a wonderful community that impacts people's lives and mindsets in a positive way. I would love to be a part of that. So many girls in this world a pushed down upon in society, hate themselves, think they can't do anything correctly, etc. I would love to be someone to tell those people that they can do anything they set their mind to, that they are beautiful, and that they are strong! Whether it's through writing, through graphics, through whatever, I just really want to be a person that can tell those people out there that they can do this! I want everyone to understand that they are worth it and that they are unique and beautiful in their own special ways. Everyone is different, that's what makes us so, so special! This community is a community that advocates all of this. I would love to join and be a part of everything, so I could make the same impact on people that you guys are! Everyone should know that they are amazing, beautiful, unique, and just plain awesome! And that's why I'd like to join!

Ok, I think that pretty much sums everything up. Basically, I joined because I wanted to spread positivity to people out there and I want everyone to know that they are not alone and deserve to be happy. I want everyone to accept themselves and love themselves for who they are. I want them to know that they are unique ad beautiful in their own ways, and that they have a reason to stay on the Earth and that they are worth it. I want everyone to know that they are loved! ❤
