Hey! My name is Ada and I'm Contortion99 here on Wattpad.

Who am I: I'm an Australian 14-year-old girl. (written 20/08/2020) If you want to try and picture what I look like, I'm 168cm tall (I'm not sure what that is in feet sorry), I have light brown hair/blondish hair that goes down my back. I have brown eyes and I'm white. Ada is my internet name as that was my great great aunt's name and I'm going to one day name my child that. (If someone actually puts up with me enough to marry me lol)

Basics: My favourite colours are green and blue. My favourite food is anything with carbs and salt (chocolate included). I'm allergic to mango skin and the sap that comes from the tree as well as sunscreen. My favourite subject is pretty much all except H.PE. I can't sport if my life depended on it (except for netball, the other sports I can do "don't count").

I live with both of my parents and I'm the oldest of four. I have a 12 year old brother, 9 year old sister and another 2 year old sister.

I'm a proud member of the deaf community, as I am almost completely deaf in one ear and slightly deaf in the other. I've been deaf since birth as my ear drums are not formed properly and will most likely never be fixed. I only wear one hearing aid, but I can lip read and I know enough Auslan (Australian Sign Language) to survive. (I'm preparing myself for the questions I'm thinking is going be on here)

Despite my disability, I'm a musician, singer, drama student and I can kinda dance. I've been doing piano since I was 6, singing since I was 7, flute since 9 years old and oboe for only the past year. I enjoy acting as I get to be someone else for a bit and can make other people smile and laugh.

And of course I love to read and write stories (as well as songs).

I also love to eat. I'm the definition of foodie (I'm also the definition of weird but yea...)

I have quite a low self esteem; but other people's happiness is my happiness.

I'm a Christian (Baptist to be specific). I do accept all religions and the LGBTQ+ community.

Extra Random Facts about me:

-I can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious backwards (and I can spell it, but that's kinda obvious....)

-I'm a Pentaholic (Pentatonix fan; if you don't know them search them up. They're my inspiration for all my singing)

-I have broken three bones, dislocated my elbow and cracked my head. My wrist broke from walking into a wall, my collarbone cause I got pushed down metal stairs, and my pinky because my baby sister slammed my hand down when I was playing the piano once. I dislocated my elbow from jumping OFF the trampoline ONTO a pile of rocks. And cracked my head on the dining table. Basically I'm a klutz.

-I'm a contortionist (hence my username). If you don't know what that is, basically I'm extremely flexible in my legs, back and joints. A close friend of mine also says I have no spine.

-My cousin has Epilepsy and Rett Syndrome so I have some experience working with people with those conditions.

-I'm squeamish of blood and vomit. But my own blood is okay.

-I want to be a Drama, Music and Auslan teacher when I leave high school and am currently working on that in a club in my school.

-I also would like to one day act in a movie but because I don't think that is necessarily going to happen. (However I did act on a national kids news show not too long ago)

-I sponsor this little girl in Brazil who lives in poverty. She's the sweetest little girl ever. I support her through Compassion Australia which is a Christian based program. Basically I just help pay for her education, food and her participation in the Center and add her to my prayer list personally. (for any Christians who would like to consider sponsoring a student search it up)

-I'm distantly related to great musical writer Andrew Lloyd Webber

-I have performed in a school musical before. (Grease)

What Books: Girls Guide, The Strong Girls Club, Strong girl quotes, Girl Talk, Prayer Book

I hope you know me better and if you want to ask any questions don't be afraid. (Especially questions about my disability, as I know a lot of people have questions about that and I'm happy if you guys ask me.

Hope you all smile a bit brighter today than you did yesterday xxx <3

~Ada
