Hey, my name's Alyssa but you can call me Lissy if you'd like. I'm also known as LovesCanada365 here on Wattpad. Either one works! (:

Here're just a few things worth mentioning:

I'm nineteen, as well as an old soul, empath, introvert, INFJ-T / ISFJ-T, aspiring author, Ally, animal lover, and Egalitarian Christian. I truly and wholeheartedly believe that everyone should be treated with kindness, respect, and equality.

I am also a sophomore in college, social justice advocate, perfectionist, book worm, music addict, hypermobile, procrastinator, soon-to-be Guide Dog owner, and Hufflepuff.

       Oh, and my birthday's June 15th, 2001.

I am the youngest of three girls, and my mom's practically my best friend. My half sister and I never speak, whereas my other sister and I are fairly close. My parents got divorced when I was five, and my dad and I never had much of a relationship due to his verbal abuse and alcoholism.

Whether it be in reading a new book, or pouring my heart and soul into yet another meager poem; literature has always held the key to my heart. It's granted me a voice; an escape; and, most importantly—hope.

So, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that I chose to major in Writing. 😅

But, what I hadn't expected was to decide to simultaneously earn a degree in Psychology.

Life certainly hasn't been easy for reasons you'll soon come to understand; however, I am grateful for everything that it has taught me. I like to think that I have a knack for listening and empathizing with others, which is what ultimately led me to want to gain a degree in Psychology.

I would just like to say how truly blessed I am to've been given the opportunity to write on this account and be apart of such an incredible club. I feel like God's purpose for me is to help others and spread love anyway I can, so to be In a club that does just that and so much more is a dream come true for me!

Oh, and I also just so happen to be blind. ツ

I didn't mention this along with everything else because my disability is not all of who I am, but it's certainly a huge part of my life, as is everything else I'm about to share with you.

In addition to my blindness, I've also struggled/dealt with anxiety, depression, anorexia, low self-esteem, suicidalities, chronic illness, self-harm, sexual harassment, and verbal abuse.

If you're interested in learning more about me and my story and/or ever just wanna talk or need a helping hand, my inbox is always open, as is my books. I'll also go ahead and link my book that goes into depth about my life as a blind young woman below.

Stay strong, my lovelies! And, never ever forget that you are beautiful, loved, and worthy! ❤️
