"Mom! It's moving day!" Juliet's excited voice bounced through the apartment. The last few days had been so busy with packing up the apartment, Heather was glad they didn't have that many possessions.

Their time on Jake's mini book tour had been good for all three of them. Juliet got to see more of America- it wasn't enough in Jake's opinion. And Jake and Heather managed to grow closer, even throwing thoughts of marriage around while they were alone.

"Five more minutes," Heather groaned, pushing her face further into the pillow, attempting to go back to yet another dream about Jake. Her wish wasn't granted as Juliet jumped on the bed, "denied,"

"Juliet careful sweetheart please," Jake said, catching her in his arms before she had any chance to jump down on top of Heather.

Heather smiled turning over, sometimes Juliet forgot that she wasn't the small child who could jump on them and they'd barely feel anything. They'd been back in D.C. a week, and it had been filled with packing and trips between the house and apartment.

That fact that Jake didn't want her getting hurt and did most of the heavy lifting alone made packing difficult, she couldn't do anything without Jake making sure she wasn't straining herself.

"What time is it?" Heather asked through a grumble, turning over in the bed and looking to Jake who still had Juliet trapped in his arms.

She smiled softly at the sight of them, watching Juliet struggle out of her dad's arms. She hit the floor, rushing to her room again to continue packing her dolls.

"Eight thirty," Jake answered, sinking down in his bed for the last time. He pulled Heather into him, holding her flush against his chest.

"I slept nine hours?" She asked. It was uncommon for her to sleep this long. She was so used to getting up early for Juliet, and staying up most of the night to work.

Six hours was Heather's record, she usually slept closer to five but didn't tell Jake that she got back out of bed after he fell asleep to continue working.

"You were exhausted yesterday," Jake pointed out, leaning down to kiss her. He smiled when she wrapped her arms around him pulling him even closer.

"Mmmm, come on. I wanna go, I'm so excited," Heather murmured against his lips, shrieking when he reached down and squeezed her ass.

When the most of their things were moved out of the apartment, Heather returned to the space one last time to get Jake and Juliet.

"Hey, you okay?" Heather asked, wrapping her hand around his bicep. He looked lost in thought as they stood in the living room.

Jake nodded absentmindedly, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her into his side. He looked around the space, letting out a sigh.

"I know it's hard, but we'll make new memories in our home," Heather said softly, knowing exactly what was wrong with Jake.

He put down roots here six years ago, Heather didn't have the same attachments to her apartment. Mainly because her mind was never fully present when she was alone. It took her awhile to pull herself out of her depression.

"I know, I don't know why it's bothering me so much," he let out a half hearted chuckle, squeezing her a little bit while he felt the lump in his throat.

Heather wrapped both arms around his mid section, leaning into his touch. She felt for him, but she knew he'd be happier in the house.

"Because you're attached. This was your home Jake and a place full of a lot of memories," Heather said, pressing a kiss to his clothed chest.
