"Owen's place today, Casper," Teddy tells the chauffeur as we both get in.

Hey, I finally got used to the idea of a chauffeur! Although I had no idea his name was Casper...

Well.

"We'll visit Owen's to see if there's anything that might help. Next is Lolita's. She has a humongous library. Even larger than Uncle John's. So that will be interesting to check out," Teddy tells me.

I'm kind of surprised Casper isn't saying anything. But then I realize he has earbuds in. That's professional. I wonder if all the servants have earbuds. I can almost imagine Sarah doing the waltz while sweeping the floor. But probably not. Caper's probably just cheating. I realize I can fire him if I want to, but I honestly don't care right now. I don't even know why I'm thinking about this. There are so many more important things to think about than...well, a chauffeur who likes to listen to music.

"Wow, okay then."

Teddy nods and sits back in his seat. The drive to Owen's home is quiet. Until we reach his driveway- a circular one of course, and his long, large, manor. That's only four stories, but really wide. It's shaped like an E, I think.

"Whoah," I say in awe.

"Yeah," Teddy replies.

It's almost as big as Grandfather's manor, so obviously it's still just as impressive.

Casper drops us off and we walk inside, get welcomed by the maids and fussed over, and then are led to a drawing-room somewhere in the house.

The rest are already there, gathered around sitting on purple velvet armchairs. There are two empty seats where Teddy and I sit down.

"Okay, Owen, let's go into your library and search your family journals. Gosh, why does everything have to be so hard?" Lolita complains, starting us off.

I look down at the ground.

The boys start standing up until Teddy grabs Owen's arm and tugs it down. "Guys, I was thinking we should a make a journal and record everything. That way we'll have all of our information. I have no idea why none of us thought of it. It's simple logic."

J.T. sighs, and so does Margy.

"I don't think we should," Margy speaks up. She starts to stand up, but Teddy quickly jumps in.

"Why?"

"Well, the Manipulators can find this, and, you know, send us into a time curve?!"

"Mmm, I don't think so. They don't care what we do, we're just kids, remember?" Teddy says.

"I think they will," she argues.

"I don't think so."

"But they can."

"And they won't."

"I agree with Teddy," I say quietly, "How else are we supposed to keep all of our information?"

Margy starts to sigh but then stops.

"Okay," she says lightly. But I feel like there's some... annoyance behind her tone.

She touches her head with a finger and rubs one of her temples. "Actually, I'm not feeling all that well. I think I'll just head home for now. See you tomorrow," she says and walks out.

I stare bewildered behind her. Seriously? What's up with her? She just goes and leaves like that?! I mean, come on! Does she not care about finding Ann?!

"Well," Teddy says, taking a deep breath, "I guess we should get going."

And we do just that.

But we don't find anything.

"My house, tomorrow," Lolita says after a day spent searching through the journals.

We all agree. There is nothing that will help us in these journals, and we went through all of them.

I hope we can find out where Ann is soon. I want to stop worrying. I'm so tired of it. If only the world were perfect.

(A/N: This is a little late, I'm sorry everyone! I had so much work again, but I hope you all liked this chapter. We're getting to the more interesting parts. Be prepared for an overdose of science fiction!)
