While Christopher was pulling his coat tighter around him while walking to the club wishing Lewis had snuck out to come with him, Themi and her siblings were just arriving. The humans who looked after the club couldn't do enough for them. They eyed Keahi slightly but he didn't seem to notice. He felt that inner rage was at near boiling point. Juni noticed though and eyed them right back. She knew they wouldn't cause her or her siblings any bother because one look from her made them drop their gazes. Makis sighed and the humans next to him shivered. Themi watched everyone, looking for those blue eyes. The humans led the siblings through the divided dance floor and up to their thrones. They took their drink orders and basically fled from view. The humans who had parted a way for them continued dancing. They weren't worried about being poisoned. Human means of death rarely affected them however poison left a bitter after taste they would notice. Themi knew they wouldn't try to kill them by means they could detect. The thought sent a shiver down Themi's spine, she knew exactly what would happen to the humans foolish enough to try. She eyed him now. Keahi. His gaze found her and he smirked. She hated him in that moment. After what happened in the kitchen she had kept her distance from both twins. Makis noticed but didn't know why and knew if she wanted to tell him she would. He would wait. He had time for her. The drinks came and Themi started to relax.

Outside Christopher could hear the low vibrations of music and moving bodies. He envied them. He was out in the bitter cold while they were all warm, having a good time. He huffed out a sigh and stood across the street out of sight of the bouncers. He had timed it almost perfectly. In about ten minutes those huge men would go inside for maybe only seconds but he knew he was quick enough. Deep down he knew he should have approached from the other side but he didn't fancy making that long of a trip. He was fucking cold. In ten minutes he could walk down the alley, have a look, leave, and be warm in bed soon. Again he pulled his coat closer.

Themi and Makis were chatting, laughing, Keahi didn't like it. He looked at Juni but she was already glaring at him. He leaned back in his throne and rolled his eyes. For someone who was the literal God of anger he didn't know why they expected him to be a fucking choir boy.

"Keahi. Go dance."

He kicked his feet and positioned his long legs far in front of him.

"Why?"

"You look like you can burn off some energy."

"Why don't you go dance Juni? While you're at it save your judgements for someone who gives a fuck."

Makis stilled as he noticed various humans almost flinching away from Keahi's tone of voice. He looked at Themi who, during their conversation, had turned to watch some other humans dancing.

"Don't."

"What?"

"Don't talk to me like that."

"Oh fuck this."

Keahi shoved his throne back as he stood to fast to be normal.

"I will dance. I see some pretty young humans out there."

Juni flinched. The dirty smile on Keahi's lips made her stomach roll.

"They are not to be touched by you. Do you hear me."

"Yes Mother."

Juni stood quickly too. Themi was now watching her siblings, as were the humans. Her strange heart started fluttering with panic as Makis gently took her wrist. He didn't have to look at her to know how she was now sat. Makis knew Themi would be very alert.

"Keahi, Juni. This isn't very productive now is it?"

Juni's head twitched as she accepted Makis' words. She turned to the humans.

"Well then. Dance!"

The music was turned louder and the Humans slowly went back to dancing. Juni joined them, flicking her long curled hair behind her shoulders. Keahi looked at Makis and smiled, it wasn't a friendly smile though.

"You know you are such a stuffy bastard."

"No, I just don't think a physical fight between you and Juni would end well. Not in here anyway."

"Boring fucker."

Then Keahi also joined the Humans, in the opposite direction to Juni. Themi knew what Makis had meant. Last time her siblings had physically fought each other they had nearly destroyed half the city. She even flinched when she thought of red fire and black smoke clashing just as the building fell on them. Of course neither sibling had been hurt badly but the atmosphere after the fight had caused her and Makis to move out for a few weeks. She had tried to tend to Juni's wounds but when she had swiped at her she knew she had to leave. The lowered parts of the city had never been rebuilt. It served as a message Juni had told her. A message that they could destroy everything. No nice little houses to hide in, no stuffy club to prance in, there would be nothing left. Makis' hand now moved to Themi's hand.

"Themi?"

"I'm fine."

Then came the first big boom. Both of their heads shot to the direction. Keahi and Juni had somehow met in the middle of the dance floor. Humans scattered away from them as they slapped with so much force it sounded like thunder. Makis grabbed her hand and led her into the same back room she had been in last time but now he left her. He went back into the main club and made his way to his siblings.

People came running out of the club as the sound of thunder got worse. The bouncers escorted people into every direction with a worried look on their faces. Christopher had heard those sounds before. It was like thunder but had a fleshier undertone. He knew they were fighting. Part of him wanted to join the people in fleeing but he knew he would never have an opportunity like this again. This way he didn't have to hide. He could pretend to be running too. His feet made up his mind for him as they started running. He was halfway to the alley when his mind finally caught up with him. This was stupid. He knew their fights were dangerous to be anywhere near. He had seen the scars of their last fight. He kept muttering to himself how stupid he was as he went behind the club. He saw a door, there was no light above it so he knew this was their door. The just in case door.

Themi couldn't take the noise any longer and now she imaged Makis getting involved. She knew he could be hurt. Juni and Keahi were fighters. Even though Juni moved so gracefully she could be physically dangerous and Keahi, well he was Keahi he was born into violence. He was made from it. He loved it. She could hear Makis slightly but then his voice suddenly stopped. Panic shot through her every cell. She burst through the door that had been placed their for quick escapes. The alley didn't damped the noise but she could finally breathe. The air was cold but refreshing to her burning skin. That's when she saw him. A man. He just stood there looking at her. Something inside the club threw at the window causing the bars to bend outwards but it caused more light to illuminate the figure.

"It's you!"

He jumped slightly as if he didn't expect her to speak. She didn't expect to speak to him but she had been so surprised. It was the man with blue eyes. The man she had wrote the letter to. The man who dared to hold her eye contact. The fight got louder.

"You shouldn't be here."

He looked at the club, a part of the wall had started to stick out as if someone was being repeatedly bashed into it.

"I know."

She noticed the wall too. Christopher felt startled every time her gaze moved. Her eyes were glowing. Just like they had when he was a boy. Two golden globes illuminating her face. Then something happened he never expected. She ran to him and grabbed his lower arm

"Come with me!"

She dragged him away. He noticed she wasn't wearing a coat. His first thought was that she must be cold. His third or fourth thought was where is she taking me, he was slightly ashamed he was so slow to remember he was being dragged into the darkness.
