"Lesser come now, we are going out."

Juni stood by the large window that overlooked the city with Her long black hair down and straight while velvet material She wore clung to Her curves. The stars reflected onto Her black eyes. Unlike Her siblings Juni's eyes had no trace of white in them. All the grief the humans felt had left Her with fully dilated pupils. She had become the darkness She was the god of. She knew that Her eyes bothered the mortals, She felt it. She liked it.

Their apartment was a mortal one They had 'acquired'. They were where they belonged, on the top floor over looking Their world and the humans. The windows were large and numerous while the walls were painted black and gold in a marbled fashion. The floors were flat black tiles with small specks of lighting pouring through. It had four bedrooms which was beyond perfect for the siblings who needed space from each other. For all the time They had spent together most of the time they couldn't stand each other. The furnishings were all purple and silver which one would think would look odd in this apartment but somehow it tied all the rooms together beautifully. Some might say it was luxurious others may say it was too rich for their blood.

"Please Juni don't call me 'Lesser'."

Keahi came from His room dressed in a dark suit set with a dark red tie. His hair was dark blonde and wild. The humans would call it dirty blonde and that made Him laugh. At first He had wondered how 'dirty' could be a colour now He didn't care too much about what Humans thought. He had over heard the exchange between His two siblings and added;

"Well you are aren't you."

"Keahi leave Her be. When I say Lesser it is simply for you are a mere child compared to Keahi, Makis, and Myself. No malice. You would know if I meant to insult you dear sister."

"Well I may be younger but I am every bit as powerful as you three."

"Sure you are."

Juni said this while turning to face Her younger sister who had grown so beautifully. Her hair was wavy and brown which Juni found plain but Her eyes were the fiercest gold Juni had ever saw. She always stood slightly awkwardly in a way that made Juni hate to be seen with Her. Themi was standing awkwardly now. Keahi flopped heavily onto the sofa and stared at His little sister, He knew He could make Themi enraged and this made Him smile.

"If you were as powerful as us you would have stopped us."

"Maybe I didn't want to."

Themi spoke so softly She hoped Her siblings had not heard. There was a small fire of rage building up in Her chest, She knew Keahi was to blame and She hated that He could sway Her emotions so easily especially when they burnt Her insides. She had become so unbalanced on Earth while ignoring the cries for Justice.

"Oh? And why is that dear little Themi?"

"You don't know what it was like! What it is still like! Prayed to, begged to, everyday! Hearing their voices echoing, hearing and feeling their pain, I couldn't take anymore! I wanted it to stop! I still want it to stop! I NEED IT TO STOP!"

Juni was taken aback by this, She noticed Themi's eyes glow brighter as if the gold inside them was melting. Their sister Themi was the quiet one, yes She stood by them smiling but Juni knew it pained Her younger sister so. Juni had similar experience to Themi She heard the mortals cry from grief and despair but She relished in it. Of course when She was young, like Themi is now, She was just as tired but She learned to turn those emotions into pleasure and She became the cause of most of pain. Juni also knew that Themi was much more emotional than Herself, She was soft and weak for the humans. This was bad. Keahi was just happy He got Themi to shout at Him. He enjoyed tormenting His younger sister so, She was so easy to manipulate into feeling anger.

"Themi get ready now."

Makis came into the room bringing a cold air with Him. He took very little notice of how His siblings all turned their heads to Him. What He did notice was Keahi lying on His grey suit jacket. Makis was a grey kind of guy, well God. His hair was the same as Keahi's however it was less wild. Makis liked to have His hair neat and styled. They also differed on eye colour. While Keahi's was the deadliest red, Makis' eyes were grey. Soft grey. Flat grey. Headstone grey.

"I don't even know why we are bringing her!"

"Keahi shut the fuck up!"

"Language Themi! You sound like them."

"Is that so bad? They have a fantastic vocabulary."

"Yes but you just seem to enjoy the swearing."

"So do I."

Makis said as He was trying to push His twin off His coat. Keahi had yet to make His twin explode in anger but He kept trying. Lying on His coat was such a minor annoyance Keahi knew it would make Juni mad, maybe even Themi, yet He felt no flicker of anger from Makis. All He felt was the cold air that Makis brought with Him everywhere.

"Keahi does too He just doesn't like to admit it."

"That's it Makis throw me under the bus!"

With this Keahi finally surrendered Makis' grey suit jacket, feeling disappointed with Himself and angry with Makis for being such an emotionless tool.

"Oh We have been here too long, We have gone native."

"It's not that bad Juni."

"Is it not?"

Themi couldn't think how to justify that.

"I'll go get dressed."

Themi knew they were going back to the club. It was a club designed for humans who had decided instead of fighting the Gods they would aim to please them. Not that any of the siblings apart from Themi wanted to get to know the humans. Themi knew that wanting to get to know the humans was a dangerous thought but She partly knew them anyway from their prayers but She wanted to learn the other stuff about them not just who or what had wronged them.

Themi found a blue dress that She liked. She slipped it on. She looked over herself in the mirror and briefy touched the pendent at Her throat. Normally She would wear white but Juni hated Her in it, Juni had said it made Themi look like the human's angel while the other siblings looked like their destroyers. Themi sighed. She was their destroyer too, she had condemned them by not lifting a finger to help them.

The club wasn't too far from where the siblings had been living, no human knew where that was but they all knew about the club, fighters and surrendered alike. It was full most nights and Themi hated that. Most of the time Keahi would make some of the humans break out in fighting even if they had been the best of friends the second before. It entertained Him. Every mortal who came close to Makis would shiver and slink off. Juni made them feel depressed and unlikely to entertain until Keahi stepped in. Themi had them try to crowd Her, She was the shining light, She was the one who made them feel better about being surrounded by Gods because She was the bringer of Justice and Hope, words that almost felt lost on the human tongue. She cringed at the thought. Her a shining light. She did not protect them. Justice and revenge have a very thin line. With one last look in the mirror She touched the pendent at Her throat one last time and took a deep breath out. Juni knew what Themi was feeling as She felt it and so did Makis. He could sense Themi's fear of being an idol to the mortals when She knew She shouldn't be.

"Okay let's go."
