  Yeah, I'm not him. Not the one they said to have saved your life a few years back. Not the one that you promised a marriage to.

I might never be the one you take home to mother.

  I heard people say that it was you who brought him home, saying that you wanted to marry him when you got old enough.

But I can be the one, be the one tonight.

  But tonight, let me bring you out of this house. Into my car, we can go to the amusement park. We can go wherever.

But if you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms,

  We met at a house party, a formal event. I saw you there standing beside your parents, looking like the perfect doll. You were smiling but I knew it was fake, what you wanted was far from being there. What you wanted was to spread your wings and fly.

  So I'll give it to you. I'll steal you from your cage, let you roam free until they notice that you're gone.

  But I tried my best to make you happy and now I dream about the days you would come running towards me, excitedly shouting out the name "Papii". And at social events I stare at you, right next to him, smiling but your eyes dull.
