Eclipse to Palace

I was gold but turned blue.
The darkness came and took my light.
Shivering without the warmth it would give. Tried and tried getting it back by fighting the darkness.
My nails; broken.
My bones; weak.
My hair; damaged.
My days were fully eclipsed.
I had no blanket
I was shaking
Death was nearby.
In my last battle, I won with my last power.
I defeated the darkness
I took back my light.
I was dancing in a palace, again.
Drinking clean water to take the toxicity out of my body to start brand new.
I was pure white again
Feeling truly alive.
