My eyes started to closed again. My body went limp again.

Help

"Prisoner, wake up!"

An alarming sound of ringing metal shook me awake. I sit up immediately, but unable to move my hands. My eyes dart around the surroundings. Metal floor, metal walls, metal ceiling, metal bars. The metal-covered guard stares me down.

"Be ready, you'll have a visitor.", he says and leaves.

I back-up against the cold walls for support. I try to recall the events that had just occurred.

The flare,

the box,

the truth,

the ship,

Aang,

Fire-bending.

I fire-bended.

"But how..." I mumbled to myself.

After a while, foot-steps plodded through the corridor. I sat up and pushed my back against the wall, trying to pull myself up from the floor. A rounded figure appeared by the cell. He wore deep red garments, lined with golden fabric.

"I hope you rested well," the person said with a smile and chuckle, "Yesterday was pretty rough."

The person clears his throat, seeing no one was as humorous as him, and spoke, "How did a fire-bender like you land up in the Southern Water Tribe?"

I open my mouth to speak but all that came out was a series of hoarse coughs. The round man sends a guard to unlock the cuffs and places a cup of water in front of me. I lift the cup from the ground and drink the whole thing in one breath.

"I-I don't know..." I speak slowly, "I didn't even know I was a fire-bender."

The man stays silent. A guard rushes down to where we were and speaks to the man, addressing him as 'Iroh', "We will be stopping at the nearest port to repair the damage."

'Iroh' nods towards the guard and turns toward me, "Please, excuse me." And leaves.

I sigh heavily, regretting everything. I bring my knees up to my chest and put my head down onto them.

I'm alone now.
