Chapter 10 - Mother and Daughter

Ash's POV

"So, where are we going now then?" Asked an overly enthusiastic Bonnie, where she gets it from still baffles me but I guess I should know as at her age I was no different, she's kind of a mirror image of me.

"I just remembered that I should probably show my starter to my mother, and since we're on this route I might as well stop by." Serena pointed out, the siblings didn't seem to opposed and I couldn't say anything against it.

"Sounds good to me! We're off to Vaniville Town!" Bonnie shouted, to which Clement had to instinctively scold her to the amusement of bystanders and me and Serena alike. I could tell that I wouldn't get tired with this group, yet it still felt like it had a hole missing for me. Probably because it's the first journey I'm not accompanied by Brock, a brother like figure to me who taught me everything about how to care for injured Pokémon and attempted to teach me to cook, since I started out in Kanto.

These sorts of memories wouldn't leave my mind ever, anyone who I travelled with are etched into my very soul and mind. Every capture, victory, defeat, happiness, sadness, anger - I remember them all like yesterday. I know that I'll get the same with this group, but there is one certain thing that I hoped would blossom in my Kalos journey. As Brock would say, it is love, except I hope I don't get rejected like he does.

While thinking about these memories and future desires clashed at the front of my mind, my eyes fell on the blonde beauty in front of me, who was busy looking at showcase news on her tablet. I smiled at her dedication to her dream, just like me, we had identical motivation and determination which derived from my 'never give up' attitude and was poured into her like a mold - shaping her into who she is today.

Except it wasn't the kind of shape he was thinking about at that moment while they moved through Route 3 and soon into Route 2, as the Santalune forest was clearly just a few hundred metres ahead. It was her physical attributes this time. It seems that the time spent alongside famous simps such as Brock Harrison, known for daily heartbreak, and Gary Oak, known for his playboy attitudes - no wonder he never gets a girlfriend - changed the once dense guy into a ... normal teenager really.

I looked at what I never noticed about Serena before, due to our height difference keeping my eyes at her face. This time they dropped lower, looking at the larger than average breasts she had and the curves that shaped her. As he looked lower and lower, eventually settling on her ass essentially, a few snickers erupted from his jacket as he looked down at his partner who was staring back with a shit eating grin. He was back in the same position as last time in Ash's jacket.

'Great, he saw.'

I whispered, "One word of this and I'm telling mum to never make your favourite dish ever again, you hear me? Shock me and I'll do it now." It seemed to work, as the horrified expression that replaced the grin was hidden, as he looked forward and away from my face, I smirked at the leverage I had over Pikachu which I took full advantage of to get my way and keep his mouth shut. Only he knew of what went through my mind and I desperately didn't want him to snitch on me like Hydreigon did back then, god it was so embarrassing.

I thought back to that time in Unova in which I was forced to cross dress, thinking about it made me cringe hard. My Hydreigon is known to be a serial pain in the ass and loves to cordially embarrass anyone when it witnesses embarrassing moments, but he was a good battler and knows when to focus so I could never stay mad at my Unova ace. That was the title he got when he defeated Haxorus in a 1v1, who took it previously from Emboar, Serperoir was the first.
