Same day
We've been chillin for a long time, it's now 8:30.
"Bubbs you gotta go get ready for bed. You have school tomorrow." Monday's are the worts for Jerimiah he thinks them two days off get him off the hook.
"But mommy Dr.Wells just-"
"No Jerimiah you need to go get ready for a bath. You can watch Flash tomorrow after school." He looked at me and tears started to swell in his eyes.
"Jerimiah if you got get ready for a bath like mommy said I'll take you wherever you wanna go after school." Dave offered.
"We can go to the park and get ice cream?" He eyes lit up.
"Yep, but only if you listen to mommy."
"You promise?"
"I promise." Dave replied then bubbs sprinted to his room and we laughed. Dave then pulled me onto his lap to straddle him on the couch.
"You sir just created a monster." I joked to him playing in his hair. His hands rubbed up and down the back of my thighs.
"It's okay." He chuckled. "How you been though?" He questioned. Dave just came back from a show in Atlanta.
"You were only gone for two days."
"It don't matter now answer my question." I rolled my eyes then he slightly pinched my side.
"Good, I've been good."
"Oh now you wanna answer." He joked looking dead into my eyes. Eye contact always made me uncomfortable but with Dave it was different. Don't get me wrong i still was a lil uncomfortable but its nice.
He stared to slowly lean in. Me and Dave haven't done anything sexual, we haven't even kissed but the tension was definitely there.
"Mommy I'm ready!" Jerimiah called out to me ruining the moment.
"Okay bubbs!" I chuckled. "Lemme get him ready umm you can go in my room and get comfortable or stay in here. Whatever you wanna do." I rambled.
I went to get bubbs a bath then tucked him into bed. Dave went in my room so that's where I headed after turning everything in the living room off.
Dave laid across my bed with only his basketball shorts and socks with left arm across his eyes and his right in his shorts. I went to my dresser to change into something more comfortable. I but on some Flash boy shorts and a tank top with no bra cause who in they right mind sleep with a bra on.
"Dave." Whispered shaking him. "Are you gone get under the covers?"
"Yes Princess." He got up and got under the covers pulling me down with him to straddling him and my face was in the crook of his neck.
"David why did you do that?"
"Princess what you talkin bout?"
"The lights are still on."
"Damn." He mumble letting me go.
I went to turn the lights off then there was a knock at the door.
"Princess hurry up." He whined.
"Somebody's at the door. I'll be right back." I chuckled.
I looked through the peephole and seen no one but something was sitting on the ground so I opened the door. I was yellow tulips and a note. I brought it in already knowing what the note said.
"Hey my love I know you missed me, I'll be home soon. XOXO
-Your forever"
Oh my god not again. I threw every thing away and walked back into my room.
"Who was it Princess." Dave asked as I got back into bed laying on his chest wrapping left arm and leg around him then his hand rested on my butt.
"Nobody important."
I need to call my dad asap.
