Tuesday September 22
"Wassup Jer." I greeted walkin back from his classroom.
"Hey Dave." He said sadly.
"What's wrong?" I asked sitting him in his booster seat.
"Nothing, I'll be okay."
"You sure? You know you can talk about it."
"Yeah i just wanna go home." He responded.
I got in the drivers seat takin him home.
"Princess!" I yelled through the house as Jer walked straight to his room.
"Hey baby." She smiled kissing me.
"Hey. How was your day?"
"It was nice. I had a photo shoot for Simone cosmetic line and it was really fun. I can't wait till you see them." She smiled but it soon faded. "Where's Jerimiah!" She asked frantically.
"He upstairs. He had a rough day at school today."
"Why? What happen?"
"I don't know he said he didn't wanna talk about it."
"Lemme go see I'll be right back." I nodded walkin behind her up to her room takin off my outside clothes, slipping on some shorts and getting in bed. As I was slowly dosing off Jayda came in and straddled my lap.
"He okay?" I asked.
"People bully him. They call him names because of his darker complexion."
"Damn. What we gone do about it."
"Imma talk to the principal in the morning when I drop him off, and I'm changing his school."
"Why you changing his school?"
"What do you mean why-"
"Princess I was just wondering. I'm not trying to undermine you parenting because you are his mother. It was just an question." I reassured.
"Sorry. I'm changing it because he feels unsafe there now and don't like the school at all."
"Oh okay."
"He's napping now. I told him I'd take him to that fun park tomorrow."
"Ray's Rollercoasters?"
"Yeah there."
She laid down on me getting comfortable when my phone ringed.
"Baby answer your phone." She whined.
"Just let it ring."
So that's what we did before falling asleep.
3 hours later
I woke up and Jayda wasn't on me anymore. I figured she was in the kitchen cause I could smell the fumes of the food since that's what woke me up. After a minute of collecting my thoughts I got up going to the bathroom to pee before coming back out and calling back whoever called before we went to sleep. It was an unknown number so I decided to not call it back.
"Look at sleeping beauty." Von said as i was coming down the stairs.
"Shut up." I said laughing and dapping him up. "When you got her?"
"Like 45 minutes ago. Jayda called Taylor bout some food so you already know ha pregnant ass was on the way."
We went down to the basement to wait for the food to finish and I didn't take to long so we were now at the dining room table.
"Bitch this so fuckin good." Taylor moaned and Von mugged her.
"It's not that fuckin serious for you to be moaning and shit." He said. Me and Jayda bussed out laughing.
"Von leave her alone."
"He better with his stick body built as. Make me fuckin sick." Taylor replied with tears in her eyes.
"I know you not bout to cry."
"Negro leave me alone." She said sticking up her middle finger.
We finished eating and cleaned up then Von and Taylor left.
