POV: Jayda💙
The next morning
Dave had already left he said he had an important meeting, I wasn't really trippin bout it. I already dropped bubbs off at school earlier this morning. I won't have to go get him for another three hours so I was on my way to my dads house to talk to him about the flowers and note.
"Idris! Open the door!" I yelled while knocking on the front door.
"Armoni have you lost your mind?" He questioned opening the door.
"No but I'm about to." I replied walkin in. "I got another note and more flowers, dad I thought I was done with this. I got better Ive moved on. Daddy I'm finally happy." I cried.
"Aww come here baby." He opened his arms and I walked right into them. "I'll look into jus give me a couple days."
"I don't have a couple days! They were sent to my house. Where me and my son lay our head." I stepped back. "He has to die this time, I'm tired of lookin over my shoulder, and makin my son move frequently."
"Okay and he will. This time we'll make sure but picking up yo life and moving again isn't a option. " I nodded then went to the kitchen gettin a water and sitting at the island.
"What did the note say?"
"What it always say."
"Okay I'll have some information inna couple days. You know you can always come here until it's solved."
"I know, we'll be fine though. See yah later I love you." I said walking out the door. I was on my way home to take a nap before I had to go get bubbs.
- 2 hours later
"How was your day bubbs?" I asked buckling him in his booster seat.
"Good I'm ready to go get ice cream with Dave." He replied
"Well let's get you home and cleaned up befor we call okay?"
"Alright mommy." We made it back to the house and got him cleaned up. I never understood why toddler get so messy at school.
"Mommy can we call him now?" Bubbs asked.
"Yes bubb go get my phone." He ran into the kitchen grabbing it off the counter.
"Here mommy it's ringing." He yelled.
"It's Dave bub answer it." I said seeing him come around the corner.
"Wassup Jerimiah." I heard Dave say over the phone.
"Hey Dave, can we go get ice cream now?" He questioned.
"Yeah tell your mom to come open the door."
I got up going to the front opening the door. As soon as the door opened he embraced me in a hug.
"You smell nice." I complimented him taking in his scent.
"Thank you Princess."
"Umm are you guys ready?" Bubbs asked
"Yeah Bubbs." I went to the back to grab all my belongings before locking the door and heading out.
We stopped at the ice cream parlor before going to the park down the street.
"Bubbs be careful okay?"
"Okay mommy!" He yelled running towards the slide with the other kids. Me and Dave went to sit at a picnic table to watch bub from afar.
"Princess you okay?" He asked. I didn't look at him because I could feel is intense gaze on me.
"Yeah, why would you ask?"
"You're a very observant person you always checking your surroundings but, today you've been very fidgety and looking around more." I finally looked over at him.
"Well I see your observant as well. But it nothing I'll be fine."
"Jayda you know Im here for you right. You can talk to me."
"Jayda? What happen to Princess?" I asked.
"I needed you to know I'm serious ." He responded.
"It's not your problem though it's mine."
"I thought nothing was wrong?" He looked at me with questionable eyes.

"I tell you about it later. Let's just enjoy right now." He nodded.
