"I'm not bout to have is same conversation with you and this dumb as topic." I said pacing the floor.
"I don't want that bitch around my baby David! What's so hard to understand?"
"Stop callin her out her name." I mugged the phone.
"You know what... don't even worry about my baby no more. Keep yo fake as family and leave Brook outta it." She replied hanging up.
"Fuck!" I yelled throwing my phone.
Since being introduced to my little girl, Brooklyn, her mother has been the only problem. She was bitter and anyone could see it.
"Baby, you okay?" Jayda asked coming into the bathroom.
"I hate her." I said looking into her eyes. "She cause so much trouble and all I want is a life with my daughter. That's all."
"What is it this time?" She asked sitting on the bathroom counter.
"She doesn't want you around Brook."
"Dave I already told you I was fine with that. You've already missed so much of her life don't let me get in the way of you finally getting to spend time with her."
"Princess that's the thing, you're not going anywhere so she needs to accept it."
"We'll until she does, which she probably never will, do as she says."
"Whatever." I replied going to stand in between her legs. "You so beautiful."
"Thank you handsome." She said kissing my lips.
"You better stop girl." She smiled.
"I love you."
"I love you more." I said fixing her necklace that Jeremiah gifted her for Valentine's day. It was a simple golden plated letter necklace with a J and had bubbs handwriting that said I love you on the back.
"How did he come up with this?" She asked me.
"I don't know. He just told me what he wanted and I made it happen."
"Thank you." She pouted tears starting to form in her eyes.
"Princess."
"Sorry I'm just so grateful for you and I appreciate you so much."
"Imma marry you." I smiled looking over her face as I wiped her tears.
"If you don't, Im done. I'll never be able to give my heart to anyone the way I handed you my heart, you're it for me Creed."
"You're it for me too Smith."
I really love this girl I don't know what I'd do without her. It's crazy how one person can change your whole world and mindset. This can't only be love, there's gotta be something higher than love. Whatever it is Jayda Armoni Smith is the definition of it for me.
