All my friends are fake- Tate McRae

LIFE KINDA SUCKED FOR CYNTHIA SARI, a teen who went from a big mansion to a one bedroom apartment, seeing her parents every day to never getting a text from them, and the most recent development that wasn't that big of a deal but still hurt was watching her friends have fun at a party on instagram without her, a party she wasn't invited to.

"What's wrong, Cynthia?" Bianca asked as she ate from her huge bowl of Doritos.

"Nothing, i'm just kinda bored I guess." The Sari girl shut off her phone and threw it on the couch next to her.

"Why don't you see if Miguel got back from his debate team meeting?" The older Sari woman asked. "I don't know why he's on debate team, he couldn't argue with a fly."

"Right." Cynthia said awkwardly, knowing that he was with Johnny doing karate. "Yeah, i'm going to go check."

The teen got up from the couch and left her phone, it wasn't like she had any friends to text her anyways. Then, she left house and made her way next door. The door immediately swung open, she didn't even need to knock.

"I was just going to come get you." Miguel walked out and closed the door behind him. "I had the best day ever, well it wasn't the best but I really think that sensei is really warming up to me-"

The Diaz boy looked at the Sari girl as he thought of an idea.

"You know what, let's get some slushies and i'll tell you about it then, how was your day?" He asked thoughtfully.

"It sucked, but i'm glad you had fun." Cynthia crossed her arms as they walked towards the strip mall.

"What sucked about it? Did Bianca cook again?" Miguel questioned, he really didn't want his friend to have a bad day, especially when he was excited about his.

"I'd rather not talk about it." The Sari girl smiled uncomfortably trying to hide how sad she was. "Are these slushie's on you? Because I am flat broke."

"Of course, when you are with me you'll always have a free slushie." The Diaz boy laughed and opened the door to the store as they got to it.

"What a gentleman, if I didn't know any better i'd say you've brought tons of girls to get slushies." The teen laughed slightly and walked inside.

"Nope, glad you're the first though." Miguel smiled as he walked up to the machine. "Blue or red."

"Uhm, both? Duh." Cynthia shook her head. "If you didn't know that you've got lots to learn, Mig. You can't just have one flavor."

"Says you, i'm loyal to red and red only." The two laughed and soon they were sitting in the middle of the aisle talking about nothing and everything.

The Sari girl was glad that she found Miguel Diaz.
