Feeling good- Michael Bublé
EVERY MORNING, CYNTHIA GOT UP EARLY SO SHE could help Miguel with his training. Apparently, Johnny never got up before noon and the Diaz boy liked to be up really early in order for him to get read for the day. So, like the friend she was, the Sari girl helped him out.
"So let me get this straight, he's not making enough money from the dojo so he's renting it out to some yoga ladies?" Cyn asked, sitting on Miguel's back as he tried to do a pushup.
"Yeah, but i'm sure we are going to get tons of people rolling in at anytime." The Diaz boy assured her as he struggled to push himself up.
"Maybe if your sensei wasn't a dick he'd have more clients?" The Sari girl shrugged. "Are you sure that it is safe for you to be trying pushups with me on your back?"
"I'm fine." Miguel let out a few deep breaths before continuing. "He is't a dick he's just misunderstood, you two are kind of similar."
"Do you defend me as much as you defend him?" Cynthia raised a brow. "Because if you do, that's kind of cute."
The Diaz boys arms folded as the girl finished her statement, both of them falling down onto the floor of his bedroom.
"Jesus, Mig." The Sari girl yelled, holding onto her head.
"I'm sorry—" Miguel quickly rose to his feet, moving the girls hand so he could inspect her forehead. "I just got uh, distracted."
"It's fine." Cynthia giggled lightly, looking into the boys eyes. "No big deal, I get it."
"Yeah." The Diaz boy cleared his throat, looking away as he got up to his feet. "and yeah, I do defend you, even though I know you can defend yourself."
The teen extended his hand out to help his friend, a smile on his face.
"Correctomundo, my friend." Cynthia took his hand, dragging him back on the floor, laughing as she did so. "Thank you for standing up for me, I know it isn't easy with how much people talk about me."
"Well, they just don't know you like I do." Miguel shrugged his shoulders, trying his best to stop smiling.
"Oh, so you are an expert on Cynthia Sari, hm?" The girl asked jokingly as she elbowed him.
"I think i'm probably getting there." The Diaz boy responded with a laugh, the two were best friends. Sometimes he felt stupid for believing they could be anymore, and then in moments like these he felt like there was a chance.
"Maybe one day." Cyn got up to her feet. "Come on, we have to meet up with Eli and Demetri."
... and then there was moments it seemed hopeless.
CYNTHIA WALKED THROUGH THE PARKING LOT, a duffle bag full of a change of clothes as she approached Cobra Kai. She spotted Aisha in the parking lot, someone she had known since she was little. She sighed and approached, hoping things wouldn't be too awkward.
