WARNING! There's a make-out scene in this chapter! I'll tell you when it starts and stops, so if you're six or something, One: Why the heck are you on Wattpad? And two: If you don't want to read that stuff, skip to where it stops!

With that out of the way, onward! To the last chapter!

In all my life, I have never been as nervous as I was in that moment.

I wasn't this nervous after I killed my mother. I wasn't this nervous when I was first hunted by the heroes.

Who would have thought those two pale in comparison to talking to a girl, of all things?

I was a villain, for crying out loud!

   Am a villain. I am a villain.

And yet, as I approached her dorm room, I almost couldn't quell my heart as it beat out of my chest.

What am I going to say? What if she doesn't let me come in? What if she decides to cut her losses and never talk to me again?

Is she even here? I mean, it's the evening, so she's probably out with friends, or something!

Yeah! I'll just come back later, when she's here! I can just-

I brought a hand up and slapped it across my face, focusing my thoughts for a moment.

No. She probably is here. Mirio said she doesn't really leave her dorm room anymore, except for classes. She wouldn't be anywhere else...

I slowly brought my hand up, curling it into a small fist. I let it sit, just above the door, for who knows how long. I look down to the rose given to me by that nice girl in the garden. A beautiful, thornless rose, with perfectly groomed petals curled around the small bud.

I took in a shaky breath, and knocked on the door.

I heard a small gasp from the other side, followed by some shuffling. I tensed as the footsteps grew louder from behind the door. She was so close. She was just behind the door. I could almost reach her...

The footsteps stopped just as they reached the door, the figure not two meters in front of me.

Is she rethinking answering? Does she know who it is? Does she not want to answer?

But then, ever so slowly, the knob on the door started turning. I expected the door to make a sound, but, like the rest of my world in that moment, I heard only silence.

   "Nejire...?"

My eyes met with her stunning blue orbs, which watched hesitantly as she made herself visible from behind the half-closed door. The hallway I was in disappeared, my brain only registering her, as my infatuation with her eyes slowly overtook me.

She stepped out of her room, cuddling her hair around her body. My eyes broke away from hers to glance over her. She wore a simple white shirt, and black shorts that stopped at around her mid-thigh.

I felt a bit of heat heat trickle down my body as I noticed the faint outline of her bra from behind her shirt, though I looked away quickly.

"U-Um..." My mind went blank, and I felt like I couldn't speak.

My gaze dropped to the rose in my hand, and I suddenly remembered why I was here.

"Th-This is for you." I stuttered, thrusting it out to her quickly.

She shyly grabbed it, her fingers briefly brushing against mine, before she took her hand away. She brought the rose close to her heart, before letting out a breathy laugh.
