"No!"

"Why not?!"

"Because I don't need to hear heavy metal at eight in the morning Olivia." Sooyoung sighed from the passenger seat.

The girls were off to a not so good start as the triplets had to wake the roommates up much to their annoyance. Sooyoung had come back late from a night out with Seo Soojin but had not ended up staying the night with her as she found out that she too had a girlfriend, and this naturally led to her being grumpy after being rejected three times in one day. Jinsol had been working the night shift at Target as usual so it was no surprise she struggled to wake up the next morning given she had to sleep on the couch too, but she was grateful for having Choerry gently nudge her awake rather than Sooyoung attacking the blonde with water. And Haseul... well Haseul was awake but she was too busy making breakfast for the kids as she seemed to be the only one out of the trio who actually remembered that they were there.

Haseul was driving with Hyunjin sitting behind her, Olivia sat behind Sooyoung, and Jinsol sat in the middle with Choerry on her lap. The blonde held a spoon of yoghurt in front of the purple haired girl's mouth which she happily gulped down. Olivia kicked the back of Sooyoung's seat in frustration and with every kick Sooyoung was losing her patience with the triplet. "Olivia I swear to God I'm not afraid to throw you out of this car."

"She's kidding." Haseul quickly chimed in. "I hope."

"Why can't you be more like that yellow sweater one? She's polite, respectful to her elders, and above all, quiet." Sooyoung heckled Olivia further but raised an eyebrow when she heard Hyunjin's sisters laugh. Choerry ate another spoon of yoghurt from Jinsol before explaining. "Hyunjin's none of those things Miss Sooyoung. Just wait until you get to know her."

"Yeah well I don't plan to." Sooyoung said coldly as she stared out the window. Choerry felt a bit sad at her new older acquaintance's words. Most adults seemed to love the little girl's bright aura and optimistic energy but 'Miss Sooyoung' was something else indeed. Jinsol could sense the tense atmosphere in the car so she decided to lighten things up for the triplets by conversing with them about their normal lives. "So Olivia, do you guys live in a mansion or something? Because judging by the designer brand names on all of your stuff you guys seem pretty well off."

"Yeah, our parents are really rich so we basically get everything we want." Olivia replied casually.

"Except their attention." Hyunjin said quietly but loud enough for just Jinsol and Choerry to hear. Jinsol frowned at the little girl's feeling of neglect as she could most definitely relate. After coming out to her family at her high school graduation dinner, she was kicked out practically the next day. She already knew of their extreme homophobia after they'd disowned her older half sister Chaeyoung but the blonde still had clung onto a slither of hope that they'd try to understand. All that hope left her with was two misfit roommates, the night shift at Target, and a weekend job at the local pet store trying to make enough money to pay rent for her nightmare of a landlord. To say she didn't miss the rich lifestyle she once lived would be a lie because as much as she hated her parents she missed having a family. Luckily, Chaeyoung landed on her feet nicely, managing to marry the love her life Lisa and of course give birth to Jinsol's mini partner in crime, Chaewon. The blonde smiled at the thought of introducing Chaewon to the triplets, she didn't know the three kids well but she could tell they would get along with her niece.

"Okay, we're coming up to the university so listen up brats." Haseul and Jinsol rolled their eyes at Sooyoung's incoming speech to the triplets. "We're gonna have to split you guys up since we'd be pulled up for questioning about why we all of a sudden have three kids, and one with purple hair... but anyways this means you're each going to stick with one of us. Think of us like your bosses."
