Its crazy how four weeks can pass by so quickly, I don't even recall doing much but focusing on getting this play right. After the whole ball thing, I've actually been spending most of my time at home, at the theatre with my friends (yes, I have more friends now) and with Kara mostly.

I haven't been that active in terms of my love life, ending it all with the bomb I threw on Lamar and Sebastian.

My ass was really in a love triangle.

Unfortunately I later found out that..maybe a crush should just remain a crush, sure Lamar was an amazing guy..but deep down, I knew I felt something for someone else.

I didn't expect it at first because you know, he's a dumbass..but after the ball, things changed and I believed we grew closer..

Or so I thought;

Because his ass decided to friend zone me. Double embarrassment.

Well, not anymore because it turned out it was all a misunderstanding and we were back on track. Though, my nerves and anxiety were getting the best of me because; A) the year is almost up and I'll be leaving highschool soon, and B) he'll be moving all the way to New York so..why pursue anything right now?

Because..I liked him.

Even though we met on..the weirdest grossest terms, I grew to like Corny and his little antics. I was kind of happy seeing him in the crowd, and finally giving him a chance..

Speaking of, I was currently at home getting ready to go out with said Mr chance.

I already let my mom know that I'd be going out with Sebastian and since she had already known him she was lenient to the idea. I combed out my hair, already annoyed by it but unfortunately my hair appointment was set for tomorrow morning, so I had to deal with my Afro for now.

It was a bit chilly so I settled with wearing my dark cargo pants and cropped sweater from earlier, finishing it off with my cropped leather Bomba jacket.

Which low key made me feel like a UK baddie, bruv but we digress.

I laid my edges, put my lipgloss on and took my purse when I got a notification on my phone that Sebastian had just arrived and was outside. I breathed out my nerves, quickly running downstairs before getting stopped by my mother;

"Ouu okay cutie, hold on now..don't rush, so...y'all a thing now huh?"

I sighed; this is what I was rushing from.

"No, bye..I gotta go"

The outdoor breeze greeted me, making me clutch my purse as I ran into the car. I literally can't wait for winter to be over.

I breathed out as soon as I sat in the passenger seat, humming at the warmth of the heater;

"Hi, argh it's so nice and warm in here"

Sebastian smiled before starting up the car and driving off;

"Yeah, cuz i know your ass would've complained about the cold"

I scoffed;

"Not Rudolf the red nose reindeer talkin', your face is literally red from cold"

Sebastian playfully rolled his eyes;
