....Armani's thoughts
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~Just don't ditch me this time.
A thought ran through my mind as he said this. Yeah yeah, I get that what I did was wrong but it was for a good reason. Getting to know Lamar meant a lot to me and any chance I got with him I had to cease and take advantage of it. I cussed lowly when a random person bumped into my shoulder as I made my way through the busy hallway. It was two classes till after school and a piece of me couldn't help but feel nervous about meeting up with Sebastian later.Did I feel bad?
Of course I did, but I was conflicted between "I mean we aren't that close to begin with" and "but he's a person with feelings too".
Lord knows I'd never do that to kara, but that's because she's my best friend. I mean I wouldn't like it if I were the one in his situation, again, HE IS A PERSON WITH FEELINGS AFTER ALL.
I sighed out in defeat till I felt a rather hard force pull me towards my right direction and into a close by corner. I watched as teens and tweens made their way toward their classes before attending to the reason of such brute force. It had been Lamar. He chuckled softly as I swatted at his shoulder for surprisingly pulling me away from my thoughts like that. Not that I was complaining though.
"I been tryna get your attention but you out here walkin on auto pilot"
I giggled, crossing my arms against my chest while looking at him stand across from me. We were close to the flight of stairs that led to the first floor of the school. The main floor.
"Sorry, I got a lot on my mind"
I watched as he furrowed his impressively thick brows.
"You wanna talk about it?"
"Right now?"
Lamar looked around, possibly scouting for any hall monitors before looking my direction. The noise from sneakers hitting against the tiles had already simmered, meaning the second bell or late bell was soon to ring. I gripped my books against my chest, looking up at him and awaiting his next move.
"I mean yeah, apparently my math teacher is in sick so we got a substitute..so ion mind ditching- unless you got a serious class to attend to?"
I gasped playfully;
"Mr Thompson! Are you encouraging me to skip class?"
He shrugged, smirking a little.
"What can I say, nice guys finish last. Now wassup ma, you got somewhere important to go?"
I hummed in thought. I mean my next class was math too and I'm pretty sure our teacher never missed a day in his life. Sick or not, mr Zeus would always make it a point to teach us the Pythagorean theorem. I mean missing one class wouldn't hurt, it'd be my first and last time doing so.
Ah, fuck it. He'll have to excuse me for this one, I could use one rebellious moment. Hopefully it doesn't go on my already clean school record..only if I get caught though.
"actually.. Nah, where you thinkin of going?"
I watched a soft smile appear on his lips before he lightly grabbed my hand to lead me down the flight of stairs we had just stood beside.
I'm sorry mama, I'll make it up to you!
.......
"Damn..you really ditched him foreal?"
