Part Twenty Four - Home at last

You finally arrived back at the offices, exhausted and hungry.
You all clambered off the coaches and grabbed your suitcases. Shayne grabbed his his bag and waited for yours. "M'lady." He said in a terrible British accent, taking your bag for you.
"Thank you." you said planting a kiss on his cheek. "I'm so hungry right now." You said.
"Omg me too." Courtney said walking beside you and Shayne. "Have you been to the sushi place like a block a away from here? It's so good! I cant really remember what it's called but they have the best tuna.." Courtney went on excitedly before being interrupted by Shayne
"Hey Court," Shayne said.
"Yeah."
"I was going to take Y/N to the pizza place near Damiens." He half whispered to Courtney so you couldn't hear.
"Huh?" You said "I heard my name." You smiled.
"Don't think so?" Courtney said comedically winking at Shayne. "Well i just remembered I've got plans with Liv! Ahhh sorry Y/N gonna have to reschedule! Okay bye love you!" She started to jog into the offices.

"Uhm okay that was weird." You giggled. "I'm still starving though, so can we go to that sushi place?" You asked Shayne with puppy dog eyes.
He stopped in his tracks. You turned to see what had happened.
"How about, we go on our first proper date as a couple?" he asked.

His eyes were kind and showed so much love for you, he looked giddy with excitement.
"I'd love to." You said, finding it so hard to hide your smile that painted your face.
Shayne's face lit up and he bit his lip as to not let out a leap of joy.
At that point Damien walked past the two of you.
"Hey pumpkin." He said giving you a hug. "Hey dude." He said to Shayne giving him a half hug. "You need a lift Y/N?".
"Yes please Dames." You then looked at Shayne and said "I've got a date."
"OOOOO" Damien replied. "Okay then pass me your bags, see you later Shanye."
"I'll see you in a bit Dames" Shayne smiled.
Damien walked off to his car with his and your luggage.
"Bye." You gave Shayne another kiss.
"See you later gorgeous." Shayne whispered. "I love you."
Those three words never got old. And you knew he meant them.
