Your face dropped. You had forgotten about your dad. You didn't want to remember that monster. All you cared about was Harry and that he was okay.
"My... father?" You stuttered.
"Yes, he's in ICU. Did you want to see him?" The doctor asked.
"I think I need a moment please." You asked.
"That's fine miss L/N. His room is down the hall to the right." She gave you a comforting smile and walked off.

You waited for Damien to come out so you could talk to him.
He came out with an ear to ear smile. "I've missed him so much." He said sweeping you Into a hug.
"Aw. I'm so glad you came with me Dames." You said trying to be happy with him.
"I couldn't have let you go alone pumpkin." He said still smiling.

You waited a moment before speaking again, your smile dimming to an almost frown.
"Hey, pumpkin? You okay?" Damien asked.
"Um, a doctor" you started "a doctor came and asked if I wanted to see my dad." You finally spluttered.
"Oh. Well, do you want to?" He asked.
You thought for a moment. You thought about all the emotional, verbal and physical abuse you suffered from that man. He made your life feel like hell, the thought of his face made you sick to your stomach.
"No." You said "I don't want to see him."
You felt guilty for a moment then you thought of the squad. You thought of Shayne and how amazing he had been over the past few weeks and how much more you wanted to know about him. You thought of the girls and all your late night gossips. You thought of Noah and Keith and all your singing battles. You thought of Joven and Lasercorn and then being like older brothers. Then you thought of Damien and Harry, your favourite people in the world, the thought of their faces made you smile.
"No. I don't need to see him. Let's say bye to Harry and go back." You said to Damien, regaining your smile.
"Whatever you want pumpkin." Damien said wrapping an arm around you.

You went in and gave Harry a hug and said goodbye.
"Love you Harry. Well come back and see you ASAP!" You said.
"Love you too pumpkin. I'll be out soon hopefully." He said holding up his crossed fingers.
You gently kissed him on his head "Get well soon Harry." You said with a smile walking out of his room to let Damien say goodbye.

You both got into Damiens car and started driving back to the lake.
"Love you Dames." You said gleaming at your 'brother'.
Damien glanced at you before returning his eyes to the road "Love you too Pumpkin."
