Part fourteen - CHEATER!

You got yourself dressed into your DaBlizzards hoodie and a pair of gym leggings. You made your way to the kitchen again and grabbed a bottle of water before going down to the lake. On your way you caught up with Wes, Joven and Mari. "Hey Y/N." Joven said acknowledging your presence.
"Hey!" You replied.
"Did you sleep well? You know, after being practically carried to bed by Prince Charming." Mari giggled.
"Ha ha." You said sarcastically.
"Hey don't be mean to N/N." Wes said "She's only joking. But Shayne seems to really care about you, I ship it." He  said with a wink before running ahead.

You finally got to the lake where the camera crew and Ian were already set up.
"Okay everyone get in." Ian said. You all clustered together and faced the camera.
"Three...two...one!" A voice behind the camera said.
"Smosh winter games!" You all yelled.
"So today we're doing the t-Rex costume race!" Ian started. "So, who wants to go first?"
"I shall." Damien said stepping forwards placing his hands on his hips confidently.
"Okay, pick someone from the other team to go against." Ian replied.
"I pick....." you were all silent in anticipation. "Mari!"
Mari and Damien got into the t-Rex costumes and got ready at the start line.
"On your marks. Get set. Go!" Matt raub shouted.
They both sprinted to the finish line, Damien tripped over his own feet which allowed Mari to get a lead and win by only a foot or two. You all cheered as she crossed the finish line.
"Well done guys! Now pick a person from your opposing team Mari." Sarah said.
"Okay hmm, I pick.... Noah!" Mari yelled then pointed.
"Okay Noah who do you pick?" Said asked.
"Umm, LASERCORN!" He shouted giving Lasercorn evils.
Noah and Lasercorn completed their race, Noah winning.
They then chose for Wes and Keith to go against each other, Wes winning. Then Olivia and Shayne, Shayne winning. "Wooo!" You cheered as he got back.
"Can you help me out?" Shayne asked. You unzipped the costume and pulled it down. "Well done!" You said giving Shayne a high five restraining yourself from too much physical contact.
Then Olivia picked you, you only had two choices: Courtney and Joven and you definitely knew who you'd rather go against. "Joven!" You shouted confidently.
Ian and Mari helped you into the costume. It was now humid and sweaty from your teammates previous uses. You made your way to the start line and Matt called out "On your marks. Get set. Go!" you ran as fast as you could, impressively fast. Everyone was cheering for you, even the opposing team because, by your running, they could tell Joven had no chance. Joven had slowed to almost a walk and grabbed a massive handful of snow, he threw it in your direction and it managed to hit your head unexpectedly throwing you off balance making you stumble off the "track" and on to your face. Joven ran straight through the furnish line and threw his arms up in victory.
"DISQUALIFIED!" Matt shouted from the start line.
"WHAT HER?" Joven shouted back pointing at you then doing a victory dance.
"THE BOTH OF YOU!" Matt yelled.
Courtney and Wes came jogging to you to see if you were okay, they helped you up as more people came over and helped you out of the costume.
"I'm fine, thanks guys" you said.
Joven was still facing the other way wiggling his ass in victory. You quickly got your bearings and pushed your way through the crowd around you. You strutted to Joven, grabbed a hand full of snow and tipped it down his hoodie before running away. He did another dance, but this time it wasn't in victory, it was to avoid frostbite.
Once you all calmed down and got back to the start Ian and Courtney raced and Courtney won by far.

"Okay, scores are in!" Matt said. "Now we've had to disqualify Y/N and Joven because of CHEATING" he said looking at Joven "and unfortunately leaving the track" He said in a softer tone with a sad face looking at you. "The winners of this years first SMOSH WINTER GAMES competition is..." everyone made drumroll sounds in anticipation "with three points to two!" He went on "DABLIZZARDS!"
You all made a huddle as you jumped and cheered for one another.

Matt signed of the camera and you all cheered again and started making your way back to the lodge. You and Olivia were walking back together as Shayne caught up to you "Hey well done Y/N. Even though you didn't win, like me." He said flexing his muscles as a joke. You didn't notice but Olivia had left the two of you and started walking with Sarah.
"Shut up! I could have one easily if Joven wasn't a CHEATING LITTLE BITCH!" You said laughing shouting at Joven so he could hear you.
"Bet you couldn't win against me." Shayne laughed.
"Wanna bet?" You said stopping in front of him. "OKAY!" You said while sprinting towards the lodge.
"Oi!" Shayne yelled already far behind you.
You got to the lodge out of breath but happy because you beat Shayne who was only moments behind you. "HAH!!" You yelled panting for air.
"Oh that's it!" He lifted you over his shoulder again and carried you inside. He didn't put you down yet went and got himself a drink.
"Hi." You said waving at Keith who looked confused and just walked out of the kitchen leaving you and Shayne alone. Shayne finally put you down and you went very dizzy and faint. You stumbled, nearly falling over only to be caught by Shayne's toned arms grabbing you and holding you up. You closed your eyes and shook your head regaining consciousness.
"Thank you." You said smiling looking deep into his ocean blue eyes.
"You okay pumpkin?" He said genuinely concerned.
You nodded silently and brought yourself close to his chest for comfort and to keep yourself up right. Shayne paused for a second before holding you tight and stroking your hair.
"Thank you" you repeated.
