He needed to do it when no one was home. Neither you or your family inside. But that would mean you would have to be somewhere else. Saiki didn't want to take the risk and do it when everyone was hanging out with you because he wouldn't be there to hear what happens.
Which is why he found himself in your room on a Monday, school morning. He wasn't planning on staying there until you got home. Just a quick peek, he told himself.
A quick peek turned into a tour of most of your house. Except your other family members' rooms. God forbid he ever found something he hadn't meant to see.
He looked in your drawers, inhaling the smell of your clothes, which he described they had a lavender smelling detergent to it. Saiki made sure there was no trace of him in your room. Even if he wanted you to know he was there, it was better so that you wouldn't find out who it was yet.
But before the pink haired boy could do that, he snooped through pictures put up on the top of other drawers and desks. There really wasn't much to find, things thrown around here and there. Books piled up on the little nightstand beside your bed.
Clean undergarments, which he picked some up, were scattered beside the drawer they were in. He would admit, your room was a little messy in some bits. But what outshone most was the wall containing pictures of you on it.
A whole side of your room, covered with baby pictures, family pictures, pictures with you and the rest of the group. But not once did he come across a picture of you at your old school. No old friends, not even a picture with only you in it. Like as if you didn't exist at one point of your life.
Saiki's eyes landed on a picture at the very end. It seemed new, recently taken. He instantly thought that when he noticed it was Aren in the picture. Actually, it caused anger to rise in him. You had photos with the group, but you only had a picture by yourself with Aren of all people. No one else. Just one single photo with Aren beside you, your arms wrapped around his waist and a closed eyed smile. Even Aren's face was looking a bit to smug for his own liking.
So now Aren was a threat to Saiki. Maybe I'm just overreacting, is what he told himself. You had seemed so nice, a bit interested in him (Saiki) when you talked to him the other day. But there was still a part of him that told him you had developed a crush on Aren.
He supposed Aren did have similar features like their hair style, glasses, overall build. Unfortunately, Saiki couldn't be so sure that his guesses were right. He didn't want to go to extreme measures just then. In the end, he decided he'd wait a bit and see what happened.
As he looked around, the psychic decided it wouldn't hurt to take a bit of things from your room. Just as a souvenir because he never knew when he'd be able to go back. With this, Saiki placed a pair of undergarments in his pocket. There were a few things he could do with those. Small items like chains, pencils with chewing marks on them, a skirt, etc. And just before he left, Saiki grabbed the picture from the wall and tore it in half.

"Yo Saiki," Kaidou walked up beside him, "Where've you been? Didn't see you this morning." It was almost time to go, but they had been dismissed a few minutes earlier. So, Saiki was going to the library in hopes of finding quietness.
"Oh hey pal," Nendou stopped and walked beside him again.
"Well anyway, Y/n and us are gonna go to the ice cream parlor this afternoon. I won't bother to ask, you're gonna come with us anyway!"
"There they are," Nendou stupidly pointed to the table where you and Aren sat at, waiting for the others.
He softened his gaze at the way your eyes brightened up when you saw the three of them coming towards you. Though he liked to think it was only because he was there.
"Hey guys, have you seen Teruhashi anywhere?"
"Did someone call my name?" she suddenly walked up from behind Saiki. His eyebrows furrowed as he turned to see the glowing girl behind him. But what confused him more was the way that you only asked for Teruhashi. A thought came into his head, maybe you liked Teruhashi...
"Oh yeah! I was waiting for someone to tell me where you were," you smiled and pat the seat beside you, "Come, sit. Ugh, Toritsuka was annoying me until Aren appeared. And I guess Kaidou went to go see if anyone else was gonna come."
Aren was the one to save the day, huh... Maybe my suspicions might end up being right afterall...
Everyone was then sitting in a chair at the round table. "Wait, where are you guys going?" the blue haired girl asked nervously.
"Going to go get ice cream. Y/n suggested it," Aren looked over to you.
"Oh," depends on who's going, Teruhashi told herself and Saiki heard, "Who and all is going along?"
"Me," Nendou piped up. "And me!" Kaidou leaned over to Teruhashi. "I guess you already know I'm going," Aren shrugged.
"Wait, are you going?" Saiki fell out of his trance as he heard you start speaking. And as he raised his head, he noticed you were talking specifically to him, your eyes seeming to have... (what he thought was) hope in them. His heart's pace quickened a bit.
All he ended up doing was simply nodding. But even so, he still felt like it was progress to try and get you to warm up to him.
"Great then! Saiki is going too," you looked at Teruhashi with a glimmer of yearn in them, "Will you go too?"
Fine. "Yeah sure," she said and smiled.

And that's how he found himself sitting in a sweets shop, watching you talk with the girl. It seemed like you had taken an interest in her. Whether it was for friendship or an actual relationship, Saiki didn't know.
But a fire fueled up inside of him at the sight of you sucking on a spoon. Like you were being a tease. Saiki never would have thought he'd be this down bad. And since him and Aren were sitting on the same side, the purple haired boy also caught a glimpse of it. It caused him to choke a little, but Kaidou immediately helped him out with a pat on his back.
At the end of the day, all he knew was that it was leading up to doing something he wished he didn't.
