"You promise that you'll love me forever?"
I felt my mouth move into a smile. "Forever and always." I felt him snuggle closer to me, our naked bodies touching.
"Good, because I wouldn't trade you for anyone." He wrapped his hands around me in a hug, making my arms automatically do the same.
"I'll stay with you through lifetimes. Just promise me that you'll never forget me." I whispered while looking down at him.
He giggled before speaking, "You're the last person I'd forget." He buried his head in my chest breathing in my scent.
I bowed my head, meeting his hair before kissing it. "That's right. Now show me some love." I smirked before pouncing onto him, taking his first.
My body leapt up, looking around for my little baby. My eyes landed on the left side of my bed before realization hit me. He was gone from my life. Away from me. A break had turned into a whole different thing. It's been three years since he left. I felt the pieces of my heart that had mended themselves together break again before I picked up a photo frame. It was the day I asked him to become my boyfriend. We were both smiling widely. Our white teeth were lighting up our world. A small raindrop fell onto the glass before a waterfall started running down my cheeks.
I laughed out loud sadly. "I should have told you that I loved you and only you." I collapsed to the ground before punching the wall, cracking it. I messed up. And there's no way to fix it.
