Its time

I finished my shampoo and conditioner at the same time,
I have all of my pictures hung up in a line,
Today was the day when my watch stopped its ticking,
And all of my clothes with weak seams started ripping,
My phone after years fell apart in my hand,
And I finally got to feel my toes in the sand,
I completed the book I was reading this week,
And got to lay in the sun as I realized I had hit my peak,
My mother finally told me I was nothing to her,
And my father found the strength to eventually concurre,
I know now that it's time to move on,
So today I finally sung my last song,
I made sure there was someone to be here when I left,
And now it seems I've gone through all of my checks,
I think I'm ready now to close my eyes one more time,
Maybe one day....
I'll see you on the other side.
