I wonder if you hear my voice,
The soft edges worn down from years of making the same wrong choice,
I wonder if you understand the hold you have on me,
The trance I'm under when the soft melodies of your voice intertwine with the key,
I wonder if you know I see you in the words writen down on every page,
The stories blending together to form sweet nothings in my mind,
I wonder if you realize the devastation that rains from the sky when you push me away,
Or the crashing of galaxies when you pull me back again,
I wonder if you fully grasp the lengths I would go to, to feel the magnetic pull of your grey eyes,
Combined with etchings of your soul I have clung to in mine,
I wonder if you see why I had to push you away,
The small toy boat I am in is not enough for the storms you bring in your wake,
I wonder if you could ever open the doors of your being to come to terms,
You are my Achilles,
And I must not become like icarus...-the one love of centuries
