I read her message, again and again, trying to make sure that I read it correctly.

Hindi ko alam kung ano tong naramdaman ko, a combination of mixed emotions.

I did not expect this.

"OUR DINNER IS READY. UWI KA NA  DITO SA BAHAY MO. I AM HERE AND WAITING FOR YOU."

I hurriedly called Kuya Mario para umakyat dito sa opisina ko at kunin ang mga gamit ko, while I dialed a florist number in hurry.

Kuya Mario will be driving me kasi alam ko, hindi ako makakapag maneho nang maayos dahil sa whirlwind of emotions that I'm feeling now.

Habang binabaybay namin ang daan, i prepared myself sa maaring mangyari.
Kristina is so unpredictable when making decisions, and sometimes, yung di mo inaasahan, yun pa ang nangyayari.

Just like now. 

I was prepared to face her confrontation and resentment over, but instead, I received this message that made me hopeful for our love to have another chance.

Our house was quiet as I entered, except for some soft clamor at the kitchen by our helpers.

I did not see her around the area, I assumed, maybe nasa kwarto sya.

Holding the bouquet of flowers I bought for her, I hurriedly went up to our room.

If Kristina wanted to talk, I'm sure she doesn't want extra ears to hear our discussion.

She wasn't the kind to nag around or even throw tantrums when we have misunderstandings.

She prefers the privacy of our room.

At gaya ng inaasahan ko, nakaupo lang sya sa gilid ng aming bed, her hands clasped together on her lap and her head bowed down na parang nagdadasal.

Bigla syang tumingin sa akin nang marinig nyang pumasok ako ng kwarto at tumayo sya para harapin ako.

I walked slowly towards her, looking directly at her pretty face and I saw how she tried not to roll her eyes at me.

"Tine..." I softly said. She raised one of her brows and gave me that blank look.

There was a wary smile surfaced on her lips, a signal that she is faking it.

"Let's eat. Alam ko gutom ka na. We will talk later. Ako rin kasi may gustong sabihin sayo." she said nonchalantly.

"Babe." I grabbed her wrist nang akma syang lalakad palabas ng room.

Bumaling ang tingin nya sa kamay kong nakahawak sa kanya bago tumingin sa aking mata.

"For you." Mahinang sabi ko sabay bigay ng bulaklak na hawak ko sa aking kanang kamay 

It seemed like I held my breath for a few seconds, waiting if tatanggapin ba nya ang bulaklak o hindi.

She accepted it. Nakahinga ako at nagkaroon ng pag asa that thing will turn out ok tonight. She put the flowers on our coffee table, katabi ng kanyang bag. Paglingon nyang paharap sa akin, I held her both hands at nilapit ko sa aking dibdib. My Heart beats like a butterfly trapped in a net.

I pushed another try to get her attention.

"Babe, I'm so sorry. I really did not mean na pagdudahan ka ng ganyan. I admit it crossed my mind at first, but believe me, alam ko sa puso at isip ko na di mo magagawa sa akin yun." I lowered my chin to my chest to show my regret.
