I had gotten so caught up in the moment, I had completely forgot about the hideous scar that painted over my rib cage. Probably my biggest insecurity, it looked like a burn in the shape of a traditional ghost. The cool breeze that danced across my exposed back slapped my back into reality. "Wait! I'm sorry I can't do this..." As I gripped my shredded shirt against my side, I ran out of the room. Once in the bar I slowed down to not raise questions, but keeping a steady stride. I could hear Jax yelling my name but I just kept walking until I reached the office. Thank God Gemma had errands to run. I quickly locked the door behind me, closed the blinds and just laid on the couch. Not two seconds after my ass hit the cushion there was a knock at the door. After letting out an exasperated sigh, I stood back up. "Just a second!" I yelled, hoping to buy a minute of time to find a shirt. "Come on think.. If I were Gemma where would I hide a spare shirt??" I whispered to myself, like it was going to help. "She doesn't keep any spare clothes here sweetheart." That husky voice came from behind me, almost making me hit the ceiling. "I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean t..." Jax shut the door behind him and locked it as he held up his free hand. Maybe I said too much already. Good going Max! When he turned to look at me he shook his head as he sat on the edge of the desk. "I had no intention of any of this. But there's something drawing me to you." He seemed sincere, and yet apologetic at the same time. "I just have to know. Do you have any draw to me? At all?" He pulled me in front of him, forcing me to look into his eyes. I could feel the tears welling in my eyes as I gave him a response. "Like a magnet. But there's so much you don't know about me. My past will come back to haunt me. I don't want you to get caught in the cross fire." Tears flowed down my cheeks, making me hide my face in shame for allowing such emotions to be seen. "Max, I don't give a shit about your past. If anything haunts you, I'm going to be there to kick there ass." Jax almost sounded like he was stifling laughter. He stood up for the desk and removed his cut to get his tee shirt off before handing it to me. "Here you go doll." He said with a smirk as he kissed my forehead and walked out shirtless in his cut.

I spent the day at T.M. mostly doing paperwork and watching the guys work on various vehicles. I envy them, I miss working with my hands. When Gemma returned at lunch with salads for each of us. "Here you go sweetheart. I'm sorry I was gone so long. Anything happen?" As soon as she asked me a replay of this morning flashed in my head. God, Max. Why did you have to freak out?? "Nope. Just the usual." I quickly replied before shoving a fork full of salad in my mouth, help keep me from saying too much. "Good." She said with a smile. She left soon after finishing her salad, she was headed to the house to get ready for the fair.  The rest of the day went normal for me, but for the Sons it was apparently a rough end to the day. While at the fair a thirteen year old girl went missing when the fair was ending. They found her later on in the woods beaten and raped. Chibs came to Jax's room and told me when they all returned. It was a few hours later when Jax came to bed, I could smell the whiskey on him. Making me crave some myself, so I got up and went to the bar. I stood behind the bar and started to pour myself a drink when I heard someone creep up behind me. For some reason I knew it was Jax, maybe it was his scent or how I could feel his eyes on me. I didn't know what it was but I knew I couldn't fight it. He walked right up behind me, his hands starting at my hips and ending at my inner thighs. Slowly making their way to my core. I downed my drink fast then just let him continue, one hand slid down my panties as the other slid up my body to my breast. His hand stayed on my breast for a mere second before he turned me around to look him in the eye before a finger slid inside.
