I spent the next day house hunting, with the money I've saved it shouldn't be a problem to get in somewhere. I looked at four potential domiciles, by the time I looked at the fifth I had zero hope, until I drove up to the house. It was a larger size cabin with two bedrooms and two bath. My favorite parts were the fully finished basement/bar, the conversation pit in the living room and the breakfast nook right off the kitchen of my dreams. Sadly it was above my budget but the realtor let me spend a few hours in it, trying to get me to buy it with the magic money I can just pull out of my ass. "Just lock up when you're finished. And please give them a call to see if there's any options." She said as she handed me a black card with only a phone number on it. "Hope I hear from you Miss Moon." She had finished before leaving. "Luckily I brought a bottle of whiskey and my favorite glass." Yet again talking to myself.

It took me a whole hour and a half to finish off the bottle. Yep, gonna sleep here tonight. It didn't take long for me to lay in the middle of the empty conversation pit and pass out cold. I was awoken around two in the morning to a motorcycle pulling up the long driveway. Still a little tipsy I stumbled to my feet, trying to quietly run down to the basement. For some reason I was terrified of whoever it might be. My heart began to race and I was stone cold sober, adrenaline racing through my body. As I calmed my breathing, I could hear footsteps coming down the stairs. I panicked, causing me to hide in a shelf under the bar. Who in the hell could it be? I know that wasn't any motorcycle at T.M. Max!! Your knife!! The thought popped in my head at the right moment. As soon as my butterfly knife slid out of my bra, a familiar engine quickly pulled up the driveway, startling the possible intruder and sending him running up the stairs. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and quickly called Jax. "Max, I'm beside your car. Where are y...." I didn't let him finish. "Jax, there someone here. I don't know who it is but it felt evil. Be careful. I have to go I think I hear...." My phone died before I could finish but when I looked up I saw someone in a mask, holding a gun to my head. They didn't say a word, they just held up a single finger to their lips as Jax was slowly walking down the stairs. "Max!!" Jax shouted down the stairs, not long after the intruder grabbed me up by the neck, using me as a human shield and pressing the gun hard into my head. Jax had his gun pointed right at him, never blinking or looking away. Ok, I may die tonight but he is kind of really turning me on right now. God, if I live through this the things I'd do to him. "You alright doll?" His husky voice trembled through my body, inadvertently causing me to bit the corner of my lip. "I am now." It came out a little more sultry than intended. "Will you two stop?" Well now we know it's a female intruder. Jax winked at me before quickly firing his pistol, shooting her in the head. I felt the bullet fly past my face then the feeling of hot blood splattered across the entire side of my head. After wiping my eye free of blood, I just looked at Jax. "Thank you." I whispered, before I knew it I saw the room go completely black as I fell to the floor.
