It was Halloween and day Aspen was going to visit Sirius again. She put some food in a bag and charmed a goblet to always refill itself after you drink it all and then she headed down to the whomping willow to meet Sirius.
Aspen was coming down the hill when she saw Sirius. They made eye contact for a minute until Sirius started walking toward the tree. Aspen was about to scream as a branch almost hit Sirius but then the tree stopped moving.
Aspen wondered how but then saw Sirius climbing through a small hole in the tree and he motioned with his hand-or paw- for her to follow him.
Aspen hesitantly did but had her wand out in front of her just in case. They got to the bottom of the tunnel when Sirius turned a corner into a roman Aspen followed. The room wasn't very nice, the bed was unmade and looked like it stunk, the walls looked like they had told on then and the floor looked like it had a carpet with the amount of dust on it. While Aspen was looking around she didn't even notice Sirius turned back into a human again, and when she did she jumped
"So, what is this place"Aspen asked "Out of all the questions you could have asked, you chose what is this place"Sirius said "well, what would you like me to ask?" Aspen smirked "i dunno, I'm supposed to be a mass murderer and i can turn into a dog, theres so many more questions you could ask" Sirius said "but this is the shrieking shack" "I thought this place was haunted" Aspen questioned "it's not but I'll explain why later I need to tell you something" "ok but first here's your food, oh and the goblet automatically refills itself" Aspen said with a smile.
Sirius thanked her before eating it quickly and then turned back to Aspen.
"So." Aspen muttered "so." Sirius murmured. "I have a lot to explain, so let me start with the easiest stuff to explain" He continued.
"Ok well go on then if you have a lot to explain hurry up because I can't miss my classes again today" Aspen said
"I am I am" Sirius muttered before starting the explain the story of how he ended up in Azkaban
"...And then Peter framed me for the murder and everyone believed his stupid little story and I got thrown in Azkaban without even a trial" Sirius finished his story of how he ended up in Azkaban.
"Wow....em I mean I'm so sorry-" Aspen Started but Sirius cut her off "It's fine I've had 12 years to process it and I've broke out of Azkaban so I can finish him of like I meant to all those years ago" Sirius growled.
"What could be harder to explain than that story" Aspen said in slight confusion "well....the funny thing is, it kinda makes me lol every time I think about it haha em-" Sirius started but this time Aspen cut him off "Ok Sirius cut the crap, what is it" Aspen said half jokingly "ok I'm just going to say it Aspen, I am your father" Sirius said.
Aspen didn't say anything for about 10 seconds then burst out laughing "Ahaha sure that's a good one who are you? Dearth Vader" Aspen said while laughing her head off "No who is that?- that's not the point the point is i'm being Serious-" "your-being-Sirius" Aspen said while laughing now uncontrollably "ok I walked right into that one but just let me explain." Sirius said "ok, ok your being serious so I'll let you explain" Aspen said now calmed down and not laughing anymore.
"Ok so basically when I went to Azkaban you were adopted by the Malfoys. I wanted it to be the tonks but obviously I didn't get a say in anything so you ended up with the Malfoy's. Leaving to try and kill Pettigrew is the biggest regret in my life for so many reasons,but mainly because it was the cause of me missing out on bring in your life for so many years. I know this seems hard to believe but i want you to know its true. I'm not asking you to just call me dad straight away or for you to leave your family and live with me but i just wanted to let you know." Sirius finished letting out a breath of relief and then looked up at Aspen like he was waiting for her to say something.
"...I....well...what? No way this cant be true..can it i mean i never looked like any of my family so it seems like it could be true..." Aspen breathed out. She went through about 50 different emotions in one go and didn't know what to feel or say or ask, so she went with the most obvious question. "Well then, if it is true...the who's my mother". Sirius sat there for a minute and then said "that, was the last thing i had to talk about, it might be almost as shocking as..as me being your dad" "just tell nothing could surprise me now" Aspen muttered.
"Ok so, your mother was...your mother's name was Blair, Blair Potter"
