"Hey Luna" Aspen said, walking over to her, away from her family. Luna and Aspen where at the train station wating to get the hogwarts express for their second year. Last year had been a bit weird with the whole chamber of secrets thing but no one died or got injured severely, but apparently Ginny Weasley felt awful about the whole thing and Aspen felt really bad for her "the blood traitor deserves to be sad" her father said, but she didn't think that way.

Hello Aspen" Luna said " Is your father still not speaking to you?" She asked. Aspens father hadn't spoke to her since last year on 1st September, just because she was sorted into Ravenclaw "Nope, still ignoring me, not that I really care" Aspen said with a sigh. The truth was she did care because it was hard not talking to your dad for a year, but she didn't show it. "Come on Luna let's get on the train so we can find a seat" Aspen said trying to avoid talking about her father. "Okay" Luna said dreamily, like she was in her own world, which to be fair she probably was.

On the train most compartments were full so they were looking for someone who would share with them "hi can we sit here" Aspen asked a girl with ginger hair- it was Ginny Weasley, who looked like she had been crying. "Oh- uh yes" Ginny said, quickly wiping away her tears. They sat down facing Ginny, who went back to staring out the window. "Are u alright" Luna asked Ginny "Yeah m'fine it's just hay fever"Ginny said unconvincingly " You don't seem alright," Luna said. Aspen shot her a look. "I said I'm fine it's nothing" Ginny said , Aspen sighed "it's about last year isn't it" , Ginny nodded "well I just want to tell you that it's not your fault and that no one can hold it against you, it wasn't even you doing it" Aspen said "yeah, we would never hold it against you" Luna said with a smile "thanks" Ginny said, smiling back slightly "anything from the trolly dears" the trolley lady said. Aspen looked at Ginny and Luna who shook their heads. "3 boxes of berties bots every flavour beans, 3 pumpkin pasties and 3 liquorice wands please" Aspen said. Then she gave the trolley lady her money and gave Luna and Ginny one of each of the sweets he bought. "Oh thank you but I can't accept thi-" Ginny started "I want to, don't worry" Aspen said " oh , thank you then" Ginny said with a smile and Luna smiled as well. The next half an hour or so of the train journey the girls talked and joked about everything as nothing.
Aspen could tell this was the start to a beautiful friendship.

Then it got cold and the windows froze over, the true train stopped "what happened, do you think the train broke down" Ginny said "I'm not sure" Aspen said. " I think it's the crumpled horn snorkack- they like to do stuff like this" Luna said. " well unless the crumpled horn snorkack is a black cloked thing then I don't think so" Ginny said . Aspen looked out the door of the compartment... it was a dementor. "What is a dementor doing on the train" Aspen said "Probably looking for Sirius Black" Luna said. A few minutes later a man, who looked quite tired, came in. "Are you all alright" He said "Yes" the girls said. He gave them a wary smile but then he looked at Aspen and gave her a weird look. He then shook his head and whispered "couldn't be.. died years ago" so quietly only Aspen could hear, but she didn't think much of it. "Well that was weird" Ginny said and Aspen agreed. Then they went back to talking and eating there sweets although the feeling of your happinesses being ripped from you was still slightly noticeable.
