Marrying your boyfriend of two and a half years and being together forever... sounded perfect right?
Earth and Mix had basically grown up together and when realizing their feelings and talking to their parents, they were allowed to get married on M...
Earth reached out with his hand to the necklace around his neck, taking it off and softly gazing at the ring, that it was holding, the one that was supposed to be his happiness for the rest of his life. But that never reached his rightful owner.

"Loving you with every breath," he read, whispering the words that were engraved in the rose-gold. His promise... that was still valid. But not in the way any of the two had imagined it.
It almost felt like yesterday, the day that Mix' had come to visit him, just a week before their wedding. The two of them reminiscing about the old times, how everything seemed to just magically fall into place and their love seemed to be blessed. At some point in the evening, he had driven Mix home, dropping him off in front of the gate to the younger's home and leaving before his loved one was completely inside.
If he had just made sure of that... everything would have been different. Everything would have happened like they had planned it. Falling asleep and waking up in each other's arms. Sharing happiness and pain with one another. Simply, loving each other and living together.
But instead... it had happened. It was something too horrible for words to describe, too horrible for one to imagine how the younger must have felt. But what was even worse was the reaction of Earth's mother: Breaking off their engagement. Dragging her son away from his loved one, sending him on a plane to the UK. Where he was monitored around the clock for the next two years during university. And the last pictures of Mix engraved in his mind: The person he loved, in pain. An expression he could never forget. And he wasn't able to be there for him.
Since that day, five years had passed. The first two of him hurrying through his bachelor degree, the only thing he knew being studying, so he could escape and get back to his loved one as soon as possible. But even after his graduation... his mom was influential enough to block every direct contact possible. Or him coming back to Thailand at all. So Earth pursued the only way he thought would be right:
Becoming more powerful than his mom. Building up a company of bodyguards and private detectives to prevent that the same thing that happened to them, would happen to others.
And now, after working hard for three years with no break, he had reached his goal. This time... he could finally protect Mix. And he would.
"Ai' Earth", he heard a gentle voice and looked up, seeing Gulf in the doorway, looking at him with a sad smile.
"You're thinking about him right?"
The other could only nod, putting the necklace back on before sighing and looking up to his friend and right hand in the business.
"Did you get the information about him?"
Gulf's expression changed to a conflicted one, sitting down on the chair in front of Earth's desk with a thin file. One would think it couldn't be that difficult to find informations about the only heir to a conglomerate.. but... this case was a little different.
