tw: a bit of abuse
2 years earlier
the day kenma got the confession.
kuroo went home after the outburst with kenma. yes he regretted it.
"ugh i'm so stupid. i fucking pushed him, there's no excuse for that.. god i'm so so stupid" kuroo said to himself as he started pacing back and forth in his room
kuroo stopped moving when he heard a knock on his door.
"come in" kuroo said, and his father went inside his room
"hello son, i have amazing news for you" kuroos father said and kuroo tilted his head in confusion
"what is it ?" kuroo asked
"my friend has a daughter, and i told him about you, and he thinks you're perfect for her. so i set up a date for you both" kuroos jaw dropped
"NO" kuroo yelled out instantly
"no ? do you have a girlfriend or something ?" he asked with an eyebrow raised curiously
"no.. but i like kenma" kuroo said softly
"the guy that moved away ? the one you used to bully ?" he chuckled "don't humor me. you're incapable of loving someone you used to bully" kuroos father said
"no i do love him a lot" kuroos father scoffed
"no you don't. you will date my friends daughter. and not a boy, especially not that kid"
"that kid ? really dad ? KENMA IS FUCKING AMAZING" kuroo yelled out of anger
"you will cut him off, and never raise your voice and me and do not curse at me ever again" his father warned him
"no. i'm not gonna make him hate me" kuroo deadpans
kuroo father punched him in the stomach which made kuroo cough "do not disrespect me ever again. unless you don't want me to do something to your precious kenma, i suggest you make him hate you." kuroos father said and kuroo lips quivered
"now you're gonna date mika" he said before he left kuroos room and slammed the door shut
a tear slipped kuroos eyes. im so sorry ken ken..
kuroo texted kenma. he made the argument worse on purpose. he didn't know what his dad would do to kenma.
he wanted to take back what he said and tell kenma he was forced to do it.
but he couldn't risk it.
even if it meant losing his happiness.
maybe mika wasn't that bad..? ...
forget it, no one could make kuroo feel the way kenma does.
maybe one day, he'll see kenma again and tell him the truth
and when he sees kenma.
he will earn his trust and his love back.
kuroo started sobbing softly when he saw kenma had blocked him.
"i-i'm so sorry kitten.. i love you.. please just.. don't move on.. i'll be back for you" kuroo said in between hiccups.
