next day

kenma was anxious. today was the day kuroo was gonna tell him the 'truth'

it's absurd. the truth ? really. it's another sick lie. that's what he always does, lie.

before kenma knew it. he finished his classes for today.

he left his classroom when a voice stopped him.

"can you wait till everyone leaves ?" mika asked and kenma tilted his head in confusion but nodded.

he had this bad feeling but, what could mika possibly do ?

once everyone left mika pushed kenma to the ground harshly.

"listen here bitch. stay the fuck away from my boyfriend" mika spat at kenma

kenma scoffed and stood up, looking down at mika

"who are you, to tell me what to do. huh ? please inform me, cause i'm dying to know who you think you are, pushing me to the ground and demanding me for me to stop talking to kuroo" kenma scowled

"because i know you're not someone important, you have no right to degrade me, because baby" kenma put two fingers under her chin and made her look up at him

"i'm the baddest bitch here and you ? you're nothing, now don't disrespect me, ever again" kenma walked away and slammed the classroom door and took a deep breath to try and control his anger

"hitting a female has never looked so good" kenma mumbled under his breathe

"kenma are you okay ?" oh great. kenma looked at the guy who talked and gave him a death glare

"hello kuroo, now i normally don't lose my anger but" kenma walked up to kuroo and put a finger on his chest and pushed him slightly

"if your girlfriend ever pushes me again, and disrespects me, it won't turn out pretty" kenma said harshly and kuroo gulped

"ah.. why'd she push you ?" kuroo asked and kenma rolled his eyes "because she wants me to stay away from your bitchass, now i'll stay away from you, because i don't associate with assholes" kenma stated and was about to leave when he felt a firm grip on his wrist

"no, we're gonna go to the cafe like we said last night" kenma looked back at kuroo up and down "let go of my wrist" kenma said blandly

kuroo obeyed "let's go before i change my mind" kenma said as he started walking out of the school, they two started walking to the cafe in silence.

once they arrived, the two ordered food since they were hungry, once they got their food, they started eating.

kuroo finished first and decided to initiate the conversation.

"so um do i just go straight into the truth ?" kuroo asked and kenma nodded, as he continued eating.

"well it started 2 years ago, the day i um pushed you" kuroo said, his eyes filled with regret.

"well as soon as i got home, i immediately regretted it, i went in my room and my dad soon came in. he told me how he set up a date with me and mika. i told him no, and that i liked you but he then well told me to make you hate me, which is why i made the situation worst in the text messages" kuroo said

he started fiddling with his fingers before continuing "i didn't want to do, believe me. i loved no i love you, and i always will. i didn't wanna be with mika, but i have to be, and before you say you're an adult you can make your own decisions, i tried saying no which resulted on him laying a hand on me" kuroo took a deep breath, remembering the events that happened 2 years ago.

"and um the day you saw me, at the festival with mika. i wanted nothing more to go in your arms but mika noticed you and threatened me, that she'll tell my dad and something bad will happened to you. so in order to protect you i couldn't say nothing.." kuroo said and kenma just looked at him with no expression.

kenma didn't know if he should believe him, kuroo broke his trust repeatedly.

he was forced to make kenma hate him by the text messages. but the harsh push.

that was all kuroo.. he wasn't forced to pushed him, he wasn't forced to bully and hurt kenma physically and mentally.

that was all kuroos doing. so what if kuroo didn't change.

what if he's just lying so he can have the opportunity to hurt kenma again..?

but all kenma knew was.

he wasn't gonna give kuroo the chance to hurt him again.

"i... i cant believe you, i cant risk letting you hurt me again kuroo.. i cant. my heart can't take it anymore" kenma stood up

".. i love you" kenma said softly before leaving the cafe leaving kuroo alone.
