The next morning everyone was awake, dressed and downstairs by 8AM. They all gathered in the garden around a large table with a white tablecloth. There were colorful fruits and every breakfast food imaginable. The three vampires had goblets in front of them with blood in them.
Kol was at the head of the table, Davina next to him, Josie next to her, Hope next to her, Klaus at the end of the table across from Kol, Caroline beside him, Lizzie next to her and then an empty chair.
Everyone was having light chit chat when someone opened the back door of the house. Everyone turned to look at a girl that stood about 5 foot 6 inches. She had long blonde wavy hair and perfectly sun kissed tan skin. She was thin but was obviously fit and was wearing a long flowy white dress and was barefoot. She looked to be about 23.
"Patti darling! I was afraid you'd miss breakfast! I made sure we had your favorite fruits this morning!" Kol yelled as Patti approached the table.
"My alarm didn't go off this morning." Patti responds staring daggers at Davina.
"I just figured everyone else would be so tired today and I didn't want you getting up and being loud that early in the morning." Davina answered regretfully looking down at the table.
Hope was watching Klaus to see how he was reacting to the very pretty girl with Caroline sitting next to him. He was looking at her but she was unable to read his face.
"No worries, Davina! Introduce me to the fam!" Patti exclaimed.
"Oh sorry, where are my manners! This beautiful brown hair beauty is Josie, she's one of the siphoners I told you about, this gorgeous little tribrid is my one and only niece Hope, the one that's at the end of the table there that sort of looks like me but is less attractive is my older brother Klaus, the tasty looking number next to him is Caroline which is Josie and Lizzie's mum but also the love of Nik's life, and the stunning blonde dream next to you is Lizzie also a siphoner. How was that?" Kol laughed while looking around the table.
"Hi everyone. I'm Patricia, but you can call me Patti." she responded before letting her eyes linger on Klaus for a little too long as she sat in her seat.
"Well, to prevent any weird vibes I'm going to change the subject. What are we planning on doing today?" Kol stood showing he was done with his breakfast.
"Well, I need to go through the books and stuff so don't include me in your weekly plans." Caroline said pointing a finger at Kol.
"Nonsense, love. You have all week to look at that stuff. You'll join us today. I was thinking we go sightseeing of the countryside. We can look at the castles and all the gardens and hills and maybe even take a walk along the little beachside." Klaus said before finishing off his blood.
"That sounds fun! C'mon mom you have to go. You didn't come all the way to Ireland with us to be with Hope, her handsome dad and her hot uncle to stay locked in the house all day." Lizzie said grabbing her mom's hand and turning towards her.
"I did, actually come here to be trapped in the house aha." She responded to her daughter.
Lizzie sighed and let go of Caroline's hand then turned to look at Josie for help. Josie saw her helpless look and then realization flashed across her face.
"Mr. Mikaelson, can you help convince her?" Josie said to Klaus with puppy dog eyes.
"You can call me Klaus... They're right though, love. I made a promise not too long to show you the world and this is our first stop. Let's go see the countryside today. We can look at the books tonight. And the day after that and the day after that. Please... Caroline, please?" Klaus said putting his hand on Caroline's shoulder.
