*At dinner*

"I can't believe you guys are leaving tomorrow. I'm going to miss having the house so full." Davina pouted.

"I know. I'm going to miss hanging out with you." Caroline frowned back.

"You're not going to miss your favorite brother-in-law? You hurt me, Caroline!" Kol put his hand over his heart sarcastically.

"Oh shut it!" Caroline threw her cloth napkin across the table at Kol.

"Children." Klaus grumbled looking around to see if they attracted any attention.

Caroline giggled and put her hand on Klaus' thigh under the table. They were sitting close enough to where if someone wasn't looking too close, they wouldn't know what was happening. She began slowly sliding her hand up his leg and leaned over to whisper in his ear. "Sorry," she flirted while continuously easing her hand up his leg earning a smile.

"I'm not going to miss you." Patti added looking at Caroline with disgust.

Caroline smiled and looked at Patti, "Excuse me?"

"I'm. Not. Going. To. Miss. You. You're bossy and rude and you think the world revolves around you, which news flash, it doesn't. Also, you seem so unfazed by me but we all know it's an act. You're really not a good mom. Like weren't you gone from your kids' life for over 2 years? On top of that you have Klaus in some type of hold where you just continue to lead him on. Once he fucks someone else he'll realize you're just some vanilla bimbo without a clue!" Patti stood leaning over the table at the restaurant staring at Caroline.

"Patricia, that's enough!" Davina angrily said.

Caroline removed her hand from Klaus' lap. Now was the time she put that bitch in her place. She looked over at her daughters, "Do you girls think I'm a bad mom? Be honest. I can handle it."

"No mom, of course not. You're amazing and caring and she's just jealous you're with Klaus." Josie answered with a sympathetic look.

Then Caroline looked at Klaus who turned his head so they could make eye contact, "Do you think I'm leading you on?" she asked blatantly.

Klaus smirked, "You made me work for it, but you are more than worth it." he leaned in and they kissed both smiling against each other's lips, clearly putting on a show.

Caroline pulled away and looked into Patti's eyes and grinned. "Looks like you're wrong. Now, I understand you want my boyfriend for yourself. I mean come on. World's deadliest creature, dangerous, mysterious, worldly, British, handsome, amazing dad, great boyfriend, but that's it. Great boyfriend to me. Maybe you need some help figuring out boundaries so let me lay it out for you. If they're in a relationship, you don't go after them. If they show no interest in you, you should probably take a hint. If you have zero connection, it probably won't work. The issue isn't me, babe. The issue is you. Because deep down in the small, cold, home wrecking heart, I know you have somewhere, you know that he doesn't want you. That he will never want you. You're not me. And news flash, my world does revolve around me. You want to know why all the times you've thrown yourself at Klaus in front of me and I'm always unfazed? Because. You'll. Never. Be. Me. Now stop being disrespectful and causing a scene in the restaurant like a damn child and sit the hell down."

Everyone was looking at Caroline in shock except Klaus who had a huge grin on his face. Patti hit the table hard and walked out. "Sorry." Caroline said softly to Davina and Kol feeling guilty that she told off their friend.

"It's okay. She's been acting strange since you two arrived and honestly I've been waiting for you to put her in her place." Davina answered before taking a bite of her food.
