"We need to head to the airport. Marcel has already sent the jet, and it should be ready. Should I call a cab or are you going to zap us there?" He asked while popping the "p" in zap.

"Actually, Caroline called a car for us." she said nudging his arm and looking towards a black Escalade.

"Of course, she did," Klaus said looking at the ground smiling.

The driver opened the door for them as they walked toward the car. Hope slid in first and instantly put her headphones in. Klaus stood in front of the opened door and glanced towards the house. He smiled remembering what went down just thirty minutes ago. He turned back around and slid into the car. The driver closed their door and loaded their luggage, and they were off to the airport.

The airport was only about ten minutes away. It was a very small airport, and they were able to drive right up to their plane.

As soon as they arrived the driver opened their door and then went to the trunk of the car to begin unloading their things. They boarded the plane as their things were being loaded onto the plane.

"We will be taking off in about five minutes if you could go ahead and power down your devices and fasten your seatbelts." a very attractive flight attendant said to them.

Hope rolled her eyes and glanced over at her dad because as far back as she could remember he would always stare at pretty girls. They also gave him just as much attention. They would stare and then flirt, and everyone falls for it. Except this time, he was smiling down at his phone. He hadn't even acknowledged the beautiful flight attendant.

"Who are you talking to?" Hope asked with a grin.

"Oh. Uh... Caroline texted me our list. I forgot to get it before I left," Klus answered and then immediately powered his phone off.

"So, are you smiling because of the list or because it's her?" Hope questioned.

"I'm just... excited to see everyone. I'm excited to be spending time with my beautiful sleuthing daughter." he said with a smile back at her.

"Okay, okay. I can take a hint. Can I at least tell you how I feel about her?" Hope asked.

"Would you still do it even if I said no?" He popped back at her sarcastically.

"I think you two look great together. I know you guys have a history, but you mesh so well together. Do you want to be with her?" she asked?

"Like you said, we have history." he said and then turned away from Hope to look out the window.

The pilot came on the speaker to let them know they were taking off, but Hope didn't pay attention because she was worried about her dad. Many thoughts were running through her head. Why did he feel like he didn't deserve love? Why doesn't he see she has feelings for him?

"Tell me about your history?" she quietly asked.

He turned towards her debating if he should tell her or not. She looked so genuine. He felt like if he told her their history, she wouldn't look at him the same way.

"I can't," he said before turning to look out the window again.

"Well, we have a two-hour plane ride. I know it started the night you killed Jenna Sommers. I know there is some sort of ball because I wore the dress you gave to her. I heard you are the reason she died... a few times. Something about a hookup in the woods and an epic last kiss?" she said with a smirk.

"We're not talking about this, Hope. How do you even know that?" he asked confused.

"Well, Stefan Salvatore's diary is displayed at school. Everyone there was all Stelena or Delena, but I've always been more intrigued with Caroline's story. I think it's probably because you were in most of it. I even stole her diary from her room when she was living at the school when I was like fourteen. That's how I know about the hook up. Will you tell me your history now? I know it from her perspective, but I want to know yours. Plus, we have a long ride back home." she said sweetly.
