*Knock Knock*

Caroline and Klaus sat up rather quickly as they heard the loud knock on their bedroom door. They both rolled their eyes and Caroline leaned over and rested her head on Klaus' shoulder.

"What do you want, Kol?" Klaus' voice boomed.

Kol opened the door holding a cup carrier that had 2 large coffees and 2 glasses of blood. "I brought caffeine, and some of the barista as an apology." He said as he handed them both a glass of blood and when that was empty, their coffees. Caroline once again rolled her eyes at him. "You're not going to tell me I'm being a prick for taking blood from the barista?"

Caroline looked up at him and took a long swig of her coffee letting it warm up her insides and released a deep breath, "I'm sure Davina already got a hold of you." She smiled her usual sassy Caroline smile.

Kol looked down at the empty cardboard carrier and his cocky grin fell. "Caroline, I-" Kol was cut off by a whoosh, and arms wrapped around him.

"I'm sorry Kol. She was your friend and I had no right." Caroline pulled back and gave Kol a sincere look as she searched his eyes to find just a hint of the emotion he was feeling.

"Caroline, I do not blame you, I've done worse things to people who have wronged me less. It has been brought to my attention that whatever happens to Patti, is entirely Patti's fault. Also, you were under a truth serum so you couldn't have lied to him even if you wanted to." Kol gave a soft smile.

"And..." Davina said from the doorway causing Caroline to look past Kol at Davina with a soft smile and an audible sigh from Klaus who remained shirtless, under the cover on their bed.

"Ah, right. Thank you, darling." Kol said making everyone's attentions turn back to him. "And... I believe I was worried for your safety, and that caused me to be slightly on edge."

"You really care about me?"

"Of course I do, Caroline. Nik has brought you into my life now and it's like you've always belonged in this family."

"Yeah. Not only did we gain a kick-ass friend, but also a sister." Davina said as she made her way into the room ending up right next to Kol.

"And more nieces. I have been told I am a great uncle." Kol smiled.

Caroline smiled a bright beaming smile, with tears filling her eyes to the brim and she pulled both Davina and Kol into a long, tight hug.

Klaus cleared his throat from his spot in the bed, "I know this is a very sentimental family moment, but I am ready to get out of my bed." Everyone turned to look at Klaus all releasing a small laugh. "As you can all see, I am not fully clothed and I would much prefer to be if you all are to remain in my bedroom."

"If this is headed where I think it is, brother?"

*Knock knock*

"Someone's here," Caroline said as she looked between Kol and Klaus.

Caroline and Kol vamped downstairs and Davina followed at a human speed. Kol opened the door and they saw Kai standing in the doorway smirking with a battered and beaten Patti lying in front of him with ropes around her ankles and hands. Kol vamped at them and Kai lifted his hand and did a shoo motion as Kol flew back into the house. He stepped into the house and looked at Davina giving her a smile.

"Wow, you're pretty." He said to Davina who flashed him a confused look. "You can have her. I'm done with her and she's useless." Kai went and stood next to Caroline as he watched Davina slowly go towards the unconscious Patti on the floor. She took the ropes off her feet and then her hands. Davina slowly put Patti's head in her lap as her eyes began to flutter open.
