-Moving in

I was walking down the street not being able to settle in my mother's house as long as she was there. I thought would wander around the city instead of awkward and thick silence.

A loud voice booming across the street from my father's lawn, "Rose, I hope you can come and stay for a minute I have something to talk about."

I gave him a slight nod and started walking towards his house.

Little did I knew he never calls me without reasons nor did we have any strong bonded relationship with each other leaving the fact how much he hated me in a small corner of his heart and that corner was small as the number of empty rooms in his house and he lived in his five-storey house.

My mom and dad both are business individuals they got divorced when I was six and the reason was me. My dad had left his wife to be with my mum but then I happened and Ben at same time. I was a mistake and a burden that none of them wanted to deal with. They got divorced. Luckless me got my custody as 6 months a year with each parent because of the fact they lived in the same city.
Fights happened, I was despised by everyone including my relatives and my parent's friends because of being a needy child I was and needed her parents only to herself. Leaving me at Uk under care of my dad's friend giving them my custody. My dad refused almost and did something. At 12 I was sent to a boarding school I met Jamie there and we became friends.

"Are you coming or not ?" said my father furrowing his brows at me.

"Oh, yeah I'm..." I said it's not like I have other choices.

I walked behind him he opened the elegant door of his house or something you would term as a mansion. The whole neighbourhood was filled with rich and ten out of eight were haughty people.

He waved his hand towards the
L shaped couch and he said, "Rose, sit here."
"Thank you," said I nodded at him.

Clearing his throat he started," I think now that you have completed your studies. We have decided that you are going to work at my company."

Here we go again
"But I-" I started the cuts me off
"Darling I said we have decided your brother can help you with it all out."
Taking a long pause he started again "And also you'll be living here so I'll send someone to grab your stuff go and pack it up."

What does he thinks now that I'm going to live with him after everything huffing in anger I snapped at him, "I know what you want but I don't want to live here, Sir."

"What's your problem?" He said playing with his bracelet.
"I'm 22 for God's sake I don't want to live here," I said in frustration it's not like in end I can ever convenience him.

"Astra and I are going to Washington so it'll be just you and your brothers here, Rose." said my father his eyes sparkling while talking about his wife and children. I hate the way he says my name.
This is the only way to get out of here and need money a lot of I don't wanna be a homeless woman.

"Okay, but one condition... I'll be given 3 times more money for my job as long I'm living here," I said using the opportunity for the perfect purpose.

My father sighed and said, "darling, everything isn't a business deal."

"I know but it is hard to control you know," I said and he took a deep sigh.

Getting my keys from my bag I said, "Here is the key to my room. Get my clothes and stuff picked up."

"You don't mind people going through your stuff," he said in surprise.
"Everything is already packed," I said.
"How- But why?" He said.
"I was not going to live with her either, I'm finding a place so it's packed," I said referring to my mother.

He didn't say anything and I went back to my little tour or date whatever which I had planned with myself but these old lads are always in the way to ruin everything.
I roamed around New York eating and buying stuff. It feels like I never belong here.

"Are you a foreigner?" Asked a florist in a little shop.
"No, ma'am I'm not," I said smiling at her.

"But you don't sound like one you don't have to lie to me, come on, dearie," She said tilting her head a little bit.

"Listen, I'm not and respect my privacy I hope you know rights if you don't I do, "I said rolling my eyes I'm tired of explaining to every single person.

"I was just asking..." She trailed off.
Cutting her off I said, "Don't do it again then."

I went to the next shop I bought a lavender coloured dress which reached till my thighs and had deep back which barely covered anything.
Slipping off my T-shirt dress I folded it and added it to my sling bag.

I looked nice maybe a little hot that I can marry myself. Who wouldn't want me?
Probably monks I'm too sinful for them.

Taking a cab, I searched clubs near me, the genuine driver asked me where to wanted to go.
I told him to "The devil's house" it sounded like a teen's snap chat but it had a rating of 4.8 so guess should trust it maybe.

Getting out of the cab and thanking, the driver giving him a five star for not bothering me by making small talks.
I entered the club.
"Girl, Ayo your ID?" Asked the buff security guy.
Showing him my ID and he nodded at me for allowing me to go in.

I went to the bar smoking cigarettes and sipping on my alcohol.
"Isn't there something stronger than this?" I asked the bartender.
"There's absolute," said the bartender, who was chubby and handsome I found him attractive.
After some time I was feeling a little bit tipsy and then someone approached me.
