Chapter 1

Donghyuck is a bright and bubbly person. He is often compared to the sun and he loves that. He loves being able to make people laugh and smile. To be able to brighten their day. Donghyuck is also known to love affection. He can be seen giving members hugs and trying to kiss their cheeks. Key word trying. Most of the time they push him away and he fake cries at the rejection, but inside? Inside Donghyuck feels like he just received a slap to the face. He understands that not everyone wants a hug and a kiss all the time. He gets it, he really does. The feeling of being slapped comes from when he is thrown to the side for someone else. It happens far to often then not and he doesn't know what to do about it. Should he talk to the members? But then he might get made fun on. Should he just accept that this is his fate? But he feels a part of himself breaking every time it happens. He is just so confused about what to do. He needs to talk to someone about it but who?
Donghyuck finds himself at the dreamies dorm. The dreamies have always been there for him. They are all a tight knit group with no secrets and are always so much fun to be around. Donghyuck comes to them for everything, to talk, for cuddles, for disastrous cooking because Jisung had a dream he was Gordon Ramsey and would have burnt down the dorm if it wasn't for Jeno putting the fire out. Donghyuck took a deep breath and walked in. He wasn't surprised to hear all the chaos that was going on inside. A movie was being played but Chenle and Renjun were yelling at each other in Chinese. Donghyuck didn't understand what was being said but he can only assume it was an argument about the movie due to the hand gestures toward the tv. Glancing around the room, he saw Jaemin sitting in the chair in the corner of the room by himself. He walked across the room, lifted up the blanket, and tucked himself into Jaemin's arms. Fingers started running through his hair. A soft smile formed on Donghyuck's face and he nuzzled his head more into Jaemin's chest. Donghyuck loved this, he loved the attention that the dream members always gave him. The affection and feeling of unconditional love. With a heavy sigh he looked at Jaemin.
"Can we talk?"
