Patsy flips rapidly through the pages, the pages that were once filled with her mission. She was to rewrite history, advance technology to the point where Daniel could be immersed in higher technology and advanced gadgets. He needed to be able to create a rift and stop the Extraction system and what it would lead to. None of that exists anymore. All of her instructions have now never existed. They were rewritten, compressed and modified. It's time to undo her rewrites. She has to go home.

She shuts the book and rubs her sore temples. She doesn't know how she can possibly undo what she changed. She needs to go back in time and fix them. She decides to call up Jasmine. After all, Jasmine is still her best friend, she needs to be kept in the loop.

Patsy had been having a fight with Jasmine though. Jasmine was being to doubt her success of her mission. Patsy realizes now that she was right. Things were not working the way they were supposed to. She picks up the phone and hesitates. She doesn't know if she wants to call Jasmine. It's been too long. They haven't spoke in months.

She calls Esa. "Hey sis," Esa answers.

"Esa, please give that up." Patsy spat.

"Sorry, what's wrong?"

"The journal, ugh, just, would you mind coming over?" She stutters vexedly.

"Yes, of course, I'll be right over!"

After they end their call, Patsy calls Jasmine before she loses the courage. "Patsy?" Jasmine answers.

"Hey..." She says gloomily.

"Is there something wrong? I thought that we'd never speak again after our last chat. Why did you call?"

Patsy stays quiet, looking for the appropriate thing to say. "You were right. Can you come over? It's about the journal. I need your help."

"Uh, I can't, sorry."

"Jasmine, please!" A commotion on the other end interrupts her.

"I'm looking after my nephews tonight."

"Can't you just take them with you? It's really important."

"Fine, Patsy, fine! On my way-" she hung up.

Patsy feels a bitter anger pump into her veins but the doorbell rings. Esa is here. Patsy takes a deep breath and tucks her phone away. She rushes over to the door and swings it open. Esa is wearing her apron, just coming from work. She is wearing the same dress she had seen her in the first day she met her. Her hair is pulled back and her eyes are tired and worried. She runs in and hugs Patsy.

"What's wrong? Tell me everything! Are you okay?" Esa cries.

Then Jasmine arrives, the door still wide open. Her face is void of expression but Patsy feels her anger and annoyance. Her three nephews are surrounding her, the youngest are hyper to say the least. They are of different ages. Gary is the youngest, at 6 years old and Alan is 7. The oldest is Roy; he is 14.

Jasmine walks in and sits on Patsy's couch without saying a word. Roy sits on the chair the furthest away from her as possible. The younger boys follow shortly after and play with little mechanical robot toys.

Patsy and Esa exchange a glance and join them in the living room.

"Please tell me, why am I here?" Jasmine stresses.

"Yes, do tell us!" Esa smiles awkwardly.

"It's all over. My mission has failed and I need to fix it. The future is in chaos." Patsy says uncomfortably, staring at the floor.

"It can't be that bad!" Esa says.

"What did you do?" Gary asks, looking up from their robot floor invasion.

"It's what I didn't do."

"And what is that?" Jasmine asks mockingly. Roy looks up from his phone and smirks. He thinks his aunt's attitude is funny.

"I didn't go home."
