"I don't know what you're talking about." Daniel replies with shaky hands and a pale face as she waves the gun around.
"The girl, Patsy, where is she?" The woman repeats as she stands up and gets nearer to Daniel.
"Please, do not hurt me! I have never done an injustice to you." Daniel begs.
"Oh, you would think." The woman leans back on his desk, gun still aimed.
"Tell me or I'll shoot." She suggests.
"Then shoot." Daniel says with shaky, sweaty palms. She readies her gun and Daniel shuts his eyes tightly. The gun goes off. Dust and clumps of ceiling rain down above Daniels head. Daniel opens his eyes as she focuses the gun back at him.
"I'm warning you, tell me!" She screams.
Unexpectedly, ringing interrupts the panic. A phone call.
"Answer it!" The woman demands. Daniel eases his way toward the phone on the desk, gun planted on his sweaty temple. He picks up the receiver and speaks with a stamper in his voice.
"Hello? Who is this?" As he waits for a reply all he hears is static and his beating heart.
"Hello, this is Patsy. I warn you, you mustn't stay at your dwelling; they'll find you. You are in grave danger. Do you understand?" She says quickly. The woman behind Daniel yanks the phone from his ear and demands."Patsy, tell me where you are! Now, or I'll kill him." Static and Daniel quivers. The cold barrel pressed against his head he kicks his knee into her side. The gun falls loose and he takes it from her and throws it across the room.
"Patsy, I'm fine! Don't tell her!" Daniel yells just loud enough for Patsy to hear on the other end.
"I wouldn't dream of telling a scoundrel like you!" Patsy says and the line goes dead.
"You don't know who you're messing with boy. Where is she and no one gets hurt." The woman says and runs for the gun. Daniel lunges into her path. She rams her knuckles into his jaw and he stomps on her foot. She reaches down to the ground and shoots aimlessly. A bullet in Daniel's arm causes him to stop.
The woman lifts him up with ease and takes him to her car. It's hidden in the back under a tarp. She lifts the tarp, revealing a hover car, equipped with auto-pilot, a sleek design and screens of controls.
"Who are you?" Daniel asks bewildered.
"It's Reva. And you don't want me as an enemy." She warns Daniel as she cuffs him to the seat of the car and tints the windows.
"What is going on though? This technology, I have never seen anything like it." Daniel says in awe as he strokes the dashboard.
"Like it? I designed it myself. It doesn't blend in very well right now, I'll fix it soon." Reva replies as she slides into the driver's seat and locks the doors.
"Tell me where she is. She's dangerous, she's putting everyone in danger and must be stopped. Help me, help you." Reva explains.
"I'm not telling you anything."
