LET'S JUST TRY AGAIN
Jade put her hand on her chin while looking at the biscuits in front of her, this is the hardest decision that she'll ever do in her life plus the one where she had to let go of Perrie.
"Having troubles?" A voice asked and grabbed the blue packet in front of her. She smiled when she saw the most beautiful blonde girl to ever exist, "I'll get the red one" She answered and grabbed the other one and threw it inside her cart.
"I'm going to cook for Jes tonight" Perrie announced and followed Jade because they're going to the same aisle, not because she wants to grocery shop with her. She doesn't like that, that's so romantic and she wanted to do that.
"What're you going to make? Canned tomato soup?" Jade chuckled and grabbed spaghetti pasta. Perrie rolled her eyes, she can make tomato soup from scratch except she doesn't really like tomatoes. Who does?
"I'm making lasagna" The girl passed her that made it easier for Jade to check her out. The girl's jeans and tight crop top hugged her curves perfectly, she loves seeing the blonde in person than looking at her pictures and fighting with the haters online.
"Eyes up here" Perrie chuckled when she noticed Jade's eyes on her ass, it's not like she doesn't like it. She does but they're in public, maybe they can just go home and make dinner, "Jade, you know" She said and faced the brunette.
"We can be friends, right? let's just try it?" She suggested and prayed that Jade will say yes. She already practiced her reaction in her mind if the girl says no, "Yup, I would love that"
Perrie looked at Jade, shocked. She didn't really expect the girl to say yes or even say that she would love being friends. The blonde smiled and continued looking at the different kinds of pasta beside her to hide her rosy cheeks, "Uhm, do you want to have you know" She nervously chuckled.
Jade furrowed her brows, waiting for the girl to finish whatever she is saying, "Like a friendly date?" The blonde added and faced Jade.
"Oh, sure I would love that. Are you going to cook?" The brunette asked, "Yes, sure. Dinner at my flat tonight?" Perrie suggested and grabbed whatever her hands can reach to calm herself.
"See you at eight" Jade smiled as she turned her cart around and walked away with a huge smile on her face. That interaction wasn't awkward at all, making her think that maybe they're just meant to be friends after all.
Jade finished her grocery shopping and walked back to her car with two paper bags in her arms. She set them on the backseat before entering the driver's seat. She slouched, just realizing what she has done.
"Ugh, Jade! You are so impulsive" She said while hitting her head on the steering wheel. She doesn't want to cancel but going on a friendly date with Perrie doesn't seem like a good idea. She knows she's supposed to distance herself from Perrie and what did she do? Scheduled a date with her in her own flat but isn't this a good idea? If they're all friends then it wouldn't be awkward.
Perrie bit her lower lip and looked around her whole place, she didn't bother going back to Jesy's house and she'll rather use the time to make her place look presentable, she placed white roses on the vases. Red roses are for a romantic date and this is a friendly one so she used white roses. She doesn't even know what to cook yet.
"Hello, Jes?" She said to the girl on the other line, she doesn't feel bad that she's canceling their dinner tonight, "Where are you?" The girl asked.
"I'm at my flat, I'm having a friendly date with Jade tonight" She answered emphasizing the word friendly. She heard the girl snickered, "She has a girlfriend so don't you dare kiss her"
