SOMEWHERE IN THE WORLD, IT'S US
"Did you know that a pig's orgasm lasts for thirty minutes?" Perrie innocently asked, glancing at her girlfriend swimming on the big lake.
"Thanks for that wonderful fact, love" Jade groaned, shaking her head to try and erase the mental picture from her mind. She swam closer to Perrie, "Join me here"
"My legs still hurt" Perrie grinned, "Maybe later" She nodded, carefully standing up and walking over towards the lake. Sitting on the lakefront and dipping her feet in the tepid water.
Jade put her thumbs up, swimming away to the other end of the lake. She let her body float, feeling the small waves crash onto her sides and how the lukewarm water comforts her small body.
"Thank god, I didn't do it," She thought to herself. Closing her eyes and letting the sun shine on her.
Last night, she thought everything was over. That she's going to leave and run away from the owner of her heart, that she's going to be a coward and just left without a single word. Sadly, she can't do that, she can't afford to lose Perrie. She doesn't have the guts to just leave her and disappear without saying anything. She can't let the person she love slip away.
Hearing Perrie said I love you made her feel like the happiest person in the world. It was the most wonderful feeling that winning a lottery doesn't come close to its level. She will choose to hear those three words come out of the blonde's mouth over anything. She completely forgot all of her worries, at that point, it's just the two of them. Everything felt right.
-flashback
Jade just looked at the confused blue eyes above her, she doesn't know why but she was left speechless. She was supposed to run away, she should've left earlier. She doesn't deserve the girl's love.
"I-i" She stuttered, trying her best to utter a single word so she wouldn't look stupid. She doesn't know who she's going to follow. Her heart or her brain because they're saying two different things.
"No, babe. You don't need to answer" Perrie smiled even though she was slowly breaking inside. So, this is what feels like to be rejected.
"I love you too" Jade whispered, there's no point in running away. She's not going to be a coward and lose all of this. She can't afford to let all of this slip away, not this time.
"You do?" Perrie asked, she knew Jade has a girlfriend and it's not her but she chose not to bring up the redhead and ruin their moment. In this world, there's only Jade and Perrie. Nothing else matters.
"I always did and will never stop" Jade closed her eyes, rubbing her nose against Perrie's and pecking the girl's lips, "My heart beats for you. Only you"
"I love you more than words can say, Jade Thirlwall" Perrie whispered, tightening her embrace on the smaller girl as if the world is ending.
Jade didn't say anything except a smile, savoring the moment while listening to the songs that played next. At this moment, they couldn't think of anything else. All of the worries and problems that kept them up for nights slowly faded. All they know is that their love is going to fight for them, their love is going to be their strength.
