Chapter 21 - Picnic

Its midday of Sunday. Me, Jordan and Kate decided to go out today. We were all thinking where to go. Kate gasped.

"Picknic!" She said excitedly. We agreed and packed the food for later. In the mean time; we played some cs:go. Kate was surprisingly better then it then me. She laughed everytime she killed me. Time passed quickly and we decided to have one last game before heading out the door. Kate invited Hallie to come and apparently Hallie had a surprise her.

Once we got there no one was here yet so we set the blanket down and relaxed for a little while.

*Kate pov*

I store out to the wide open grass land. I saw two boys playing football. Well, it wasn't a propour game because they were only two of them. One of them looked at me so I looked away, not wanting to look like a weirdo staring at them. I heard footsteps coming to me. I brushed my fringe out my eyes and looked at them. Great. I thought myself, they're probably going to complain about me staring.

"Kate?" One asked. I looked at them and laughed.

"Brayden?" I started to remember when he hit on me and felt slightly awkward. Someone else walked up behind Brayden as he talked to Jordan and Will. Mitch. I've always loved Mitch's personality. I started to fangirl on the inside as I bit my lip. He looked in my direction and I blushed slightly. He smiled and came over to me, sitting down next to me.

"Hey, Kate" he smiled

"How'd you know my name?" I laughed

"Because I'm the cookie monster, durr!" He joked

"Okay then," I giggled. "Hey Cookie Monster!" We laughed at our silly joke until he went with Brayden. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I curiously turned around.

"Halliieeee!" I called

"Katttee!" She said

"Emma, yaay!" A voice said. I froze...what? Hallie grinned at my confusion. Then, Emma stood next to Hallie and I almost laughed at how much shorter Hallie was.

"EMMMMMMMMAAAA!" I screamed, running up to her and hugging her.

Later

We were finished with the picknick and everyone was helping back up. Once we'd finished I smiled and stood with Will.

"Anyone up for water fight?!" I yelled

"HELL YEAH!!!" Hallie shouted, running up to me. Emma followed behind. Jordan invited Mitch, Brayden and Rylan. (A/n idk how to spell braydens brothers name sorry) We were all given guns and now it was the teams. We stood in a circle and picked our team mate. Brayden didn't know whether to pick Mitch or Rylan, and I didn't know to go with Hallie or Will.

After a while, we finally sorted out our teams.

Will ~ Jordan (#Kiani)

Mitch ~ Brayden

Emma ~ Rylan

Kate ~ Hallie

"3..2..." Mitch called

"1, GO!" I screamed, spraying Mitch with water. He gasped and tried to shoot back at me but I ran. Hallie went for Emma who screamed at the water hitting her back. I laughed devilously.

*Hallie pov*

Laughing, I sprayed Jordan. He turned and looked at me. He then ran to me, drenching me in water. I ran away, giggling like crazy. I tripped over a rock and lay on the ground laughing. A shadow covered me as I looked up to Jordan. Well, and a water gun aiming at my face. Kate ran passed Jordan and tripped him up. He almost fell on me but me managed to stop before he landed on me. We doubled over laughing until he was just hovering over me, smiling. Omgomgomgomgmgomg. He leaned in and kissed me. I was froze in shock until I came back to earth and kissed back. It didn't last too long. I smiled at him. He stood up and held out his hand. I went to grab it but he took it away last second. He smirked and sprayed me in the face. I laughed and he ran off. What the frick just happened?!? I was hiperventalating and felt like I was walking or air. I felt lovestruck but quickly came back to reality when I was sprayed in the face by Mitch. I got up and ran around; shooting people with water. I couldn't stop laughing when Jordan tripped Kate up and everyone sprayed her. I sprayed them all back and helped Kate up. We laughed as we tried to run away. We hid in a small tunnel through a hill and squeezed our hair so the water would come out a bit. Emma came in the tunnel with us and me and Kate blocked our faces.

"Don't worry, I won't spray you!" She laughed. We nodded and small talked. I sort of zoned out, thinking about Jordan and I's shared moment, that's what we'll call it.

"Hallieeeee?" Someone said.

"Huh?" I asked. They laughed.

"We were just talking about how hot Rylan and Mitch were." I laughed at them.

"Rylan's hotter then Mitch" I stated, Kate said she thought Mitch was adorable.

"Boo!" I voise said and soon enough we were all soaking again.

"God dammit, Cookie Monster!" Kate shouted at Mitch who was laughing. Emma and Kate chased him but I stayed here to rest for a while.

I was in my own world before Jordan climed in and sat with me. I blushed.

"Hey." He said after a moment of silence, Frick I should've said something GAWD IM SO AWKWARD. Wait he said hey I need to say something.

"Hi!" I said enthusiasticly. Was that too enthusiastic? Great, now he thinks I'm a weirdo. His hair was dripping wet but boy did he look hot. I bit my lip and looked away. He did the same. After a few seconds he said

"This has been great" I agreed with him.

"Should we go back?" I asked

"Not before I do this."

"Hu-" his lips then connected with mine and butterflies came alive in my stomach. We kissed for a bit before he pulled apart.

"You're amazing." He whispered for climbing out the tunnel. I went out the other side. Am I dreaming?

Later
Kate pov

I was lieing on the couch with Will. The room was silent and peaceful. It had been a long day. But I can't say I didn't enjoy it because it was amazing. I sighed and cuddled closer into Will.

"I love you, you fucking amazing shit." I said

"I love you too, you beautiful fucker." He responded
