Cedric POV

It's 7 am. I walked to the Great Hall seeing girls giggling and greeting me Hello.

"Hello Cedric," the two girls said standing at the Grand doors of the Great Hall.

"Hello, Ladies. Lovely morning isn't it?" I place on my charms. The girls giggled.

My Hufflepuff friends waved at me to sit with them.

"Excuse me, ladies," I excused myself from them.

"You are excused," one of the girls said as the other giggled.

On my way to the table, my eyes landed on Cho Chang. The prettiest Ravenclaw and girl in school. She is sweet and intelligent and she helps me with my homework. But I mostly help her with Herbology a course common for people struggling with.

She was seated beside her Ravenclaw friends as her friends giggled and whisper to each other. As they notice me staring at Cho. Cho blushed as she realize I am staring at her.

"Morning Cho, you beautiful this lovely morning," I smiled at her. She smiled and blushed at my compliment.

"Good Morning, Cedric. You look good this morning," Cho shyly said as her friends giggled at our interaction.

"Come on, loverboy. Stop standing there we have an important thing to discuss," Dillon place his arm on my shoulder. He drags me away from Cho and her friends making me sit on the Hufflepuff table.

"Now, that Cedric is here. Tell us, when are you going to officially ask out Cho Chang?" Noah asked making me hide my blush.

"Is this the important thing we are discussing?" I looked at Dillon. As I thought it would be about Quidditch this year.

"No, but I was just curious and trying to help out my good friend," Noah responded. Noah then began to discuss his Quidditch plans.

He talked about the tryouts and when they will be held. He talked about using a new warm-up routine. He believes we will do good this year and win the Quidditch Cup.

To be honest, Hufflepuff hasn't won a cup in years. So, I think we may end up in last place. But we all play well and fair in our games.

"I have written the practice schedules. It wasn't easy discussing this with the other captains. Especially with Gryffindor and Slytherin wanting to take the field for themselves the entire day," Noah, the Hufflepuff Captain said. This year is his final year as Quidditch Captain.

Then an argument was heard from the Gryffindor and Slytherin table.

"I guess they are at it, again," Noah said as I look at both Gryffindor and Slytherin Captain. Both teams are huge rivals in the school, especially with Quidditch.

"You are wasting your time with your planning Wood. Slytherin will win the Quidditch Cup this year," yelled Marcus Flint, Slytherin Quidditch Captain.

"We've won the cup last year, Flint, and we will win it again this year," yelled Oliver Wood, Gryffindor Quidditch Captain.

Last year, Gryffindor won the Quidditch cup from Slytherin. Thanks to Harry Potter. This shocked not only the entire school but Slytherin. As Slytherin has been winning the Cup for many years.

"Harry, is the youngest and Gryffindor's best seeker," yelled Fred Weasley

"He will take the snitch from Slytherin again," George Weasley added

"What Potter did last year was dumb luck," Graham Montague, Slytherin Chaser

"You practically didn't feed him well Wood. He just ate the snitch," Marcus said as the whole Slytherin group laughed. As some of us did find it funny.
