Damon POV

Riddle Manor

"So this is it, we are back to our crappy home," I looked at the large mansion. The size is perfect but the condition has died down.

"It's crappy because no one has taken care of it," Elijah said before we walked into the front gates. We reach the front of the mansion. Elijah waved his hand for the door to open.

It was dark so I waved my hand to open the large old curtain. Light entered the room. I notice the windows were shattered. This house was invaded.

"Honey, I am Home!" My house echoed

Elijah's face palmed as Y/n raised a brow. Elijah must think I am an idiot. Y/n is questioning why I shouted.

I ignored them and walked around the house. I started with the kitchen. The cabinets are empty. The fridge is empty.

Ooo... cookie jar. Damn, it's empty Then I began to recall a distant memory

Flashback:

My mom tucked me into bed after singing. She always had a pretty voice. Elijah was already asleep by her singing. But I wasn't asleep. All I thought was wanting a cookie.

"Good night, sweetheart," my mom kissed my forehead.

"Good night, mom," I smiled at her as she turned off the lamp. My mom walked out of the room.

"Psk, Nagini," I whispered to Nagini under my bed. A large snake appeared from under my bed.

"Ready for operation cookie?" I asked her

"Ready for operation cookie?" I asked her. The snake nodded," yes"

She slithers herself past the doorway. She came back and nodded," coast clear," she said. I put on my slippers and quietly left my room. Nagini would tell me when no one was in sight as I followed her into the kitchen.

No one was in the kitchen besides me and Nagini. I reach the cookie jar. I handed one to Nagini. I grabbed myself and a cookie. Before I could take a bite. I heard the footsteps of someone entering the kitchen.

I knew I got busted and I slowly turned thinking it was my mom's angry expression. I turned to see my father staring down at me and Nagini.

"Please don't tell mom," plead to bite the cookie before being scolded and send back to my room.

My father sighed," I thought it was your mother sneaking into the kitchen," my father said before sitting in the chair. He waved his wand allowing magic to prepare his coffee.
