After-Hours (VKOOK)

𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟷𝟶: 𝙼𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚜

A week has passed, the boys were all back home in their shared house. Yoongi however, was not feeing well and hasn't been since he and Jimin parted ways. He thought he'd be able to move on within a few days but it doesn't help that he sees Jimin almost everyday. Now he rarely leaves his room, only coming out for food and to use the bathroom. It was Saturday, Everyone except for Yoongi had left to go to the secluded beach nearby. He was invited by Jungkook but he declined of course. Jungkook understood and didn't pressure him into it, understanding that Yoongi needed time to cope.

Jimin's way of coping was to be cheerful and hide his emotions so he seemed fine. Though he missed Yoongi really bad and always found himself crying alone at midnight while everyone else was away or sleep. Yoongi's depressive state made him question life, though he wasn't going to. He thought about ending it. Yoongi understands that he has a lot to live for, but love makes people miserable when they lose it. 

Yoongi sat on his bed as he looked at the window that looks out over the busy Korean streets. He felt lifeless, passionless, like he'd lost sight of everything. As if he lost the light. Yoongi sighed as he stood up slowly, still in his pajamas. He grabbed his bag of trash and looked over at the mountain of plates that piled up over the week. He walked over to it and slowly picked it up, leaving his room for the first time in the day. He looked at the clock on the wall, "5 in the evening..," His raspy voice said as he winced at the sound of his own voice. Yoongi put all the trash away and threw the dishes in the dishwasher to clean them. 

Walking back upstairs, he paused as he looked over at Jimin's bedroom at the opposite end of the hall. He slowly walked over to the door and opened it, looking inside. He looked around and was met with the smell of Jimin's perfume in the air, the familiar scent making him tear up. He missed that, but he knew that he needed to be alone. He didn't want to be hurt by Jimin again, fearing he wouldn't change if they ended up getting back together. Yoongi slowly stepped into the room, the tear falling down his cheek as he slowly walked over to Jimin's dresser. Picking up a picture off of it, holding the frame tightly as a tear fell onto the picture. It was a picture of him and Jimin kissing after Jimin proposed. Three more tears fell onto the picture as he sniffled. 

"Y-Yoongi?" Yoongi quietly gasped as he turned around and saw Jimin staring at him. A towel wrapped around his body with his damp hair fringing over his eyebrows. Yoongi quickly wiped his face and put the picture back, "I'm sorry." He said as he walked past Jimin out into the hallway. Jimin grabbed his hand and looked at him, "Yoongi wait..." he whispered out softly. "Please.." Jimin said as he held his hand softly. Yoongi didn't look back at him as he sniffled and just pulled his hand away slowly, heading back across the hall and quickly walking into his room. He closed the door behind himself and held his chest as the tears started flowing rapidly again. 

Yoongi covered his mouth as he started to quietly sob, sliding down the door until he sat on the ground. Softly hitting his chest as he looked down and cried. Jimin was listening from the other side of the door, softly tearing up. Realizing that he really hurt Yoongi badly. He softly sniffed as he slowly walked over to his room, "I need to make this right.." He muttered to himself as he sighed and closed the door behind him. 'I'm sorry baby..trust me. I'll make this right and I'll make sure I never hurt you ever again. Just hold on...' Jimin thought to himself as he sighed and wiped the few tears from his eyes that were about to fall. He walked into his own bathroom and closed the door, pondering on his choices as he showered.
